But, i also like to yank TSA's chain.
So, I fly more than I plan on.

I'm not flying anymore, and not because I'm afraid. There are too many rules and too many weird people on planes.

That’s what I’m most afraid of, Cat! The chances of dying in a fiery crash are greater in a automobile than a plane, but there are too many crazy people you could be trapped on a flight with! And what if there’s a fire on the plane?! . Where ya gonna go?!

That would be an awesome drive. I prefer road trips but until I get a car, it's flying for me. Greyhound sucks, lol

A fire on a plane??? I think that happens even less on a plane than in a car?
How could you get a fire on a plane?
Maybe you'll get to fly with your husband :) It helps if there's someone there to reassure you.
And weird people on planes? Not really met any and I've been on quite a lot of flights with people from Middle-East, Asia and whatnot. The worst you got was Middle-Eastern catering with rice in the morning. Yuk. They did have bread rolls and jam etc. too, but the stink of rice on an empty stomach in the morning was horrible, haha.

It's actually road trips through America that would scare me. What if your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere? Over here that's middle of nowhere for some 30 mins tops. Over there it can be 8 hours :/ Here you can call motor services for help (I'm a member), what the heck do you do in the US?
What if you don't have cell phone reception either? And what if some freaky people would harass you? Knowing most everyone, certainly weird people, have fire arms.
That would freak me out much more than flying, certainly if I was on my own.

I've met weirder people on the bus, haha. There's only been one person next to me in all the times I've flown that needed a bath. It was a lot more than that on the bus.

Which reminds me of this clip, showing cars and motor bike club in the US on a dual carriage way. Wonderful landscape, everyone enjoying it. Then suddenly they all had to stop and move out of the way as a herd of bison came running over the road towards them, hihi.
In another clip everyone had to stop as there was a bison in rut season going a bit mental. This biker sitting out there, exposed, the bison really close. Phhhhh...
Not my cup of tea, hihi. He sat perfectly still, I wonder if he **** his pants though, haha.

I don't worry about "what if's". Learned my lesson about that years ago when traveling alone. I wondered what I'd do if I got a flat tire... found out about two hours later what I needed to do. Fortunately I was less than a mile from town.

I have heard about fires on planes, here in the USA. Not often but definitely possible! Just a few days ago I heard on the News about smoke filling an airplane and had to make an emergency landing. Don’t know what caused that....🤷‍♀️
Also several reports of “unruly” passengers in the news as well . Apparently you have been fortunate enough to avoid people like that on your flights.... they must just be within the United States!
