MY question is simple. background: When I ask potential women for dates (in the past), the women made a point of "shouting/screaming" in my face "You are NOT a man!", and "You dont deserve a woman" I had one do that to me. I then grabbed my crotch, "Huh. I sure as hell feel like one. Have you been to a optometrist lately? (good thing I ducked) |

One of the perks of being a "Charter Member". 100% free full use of the site for life. Think about it for a minute- a charter member of Match? (Insert any unsavory quality you can think of) |

I think it's all gotten out of hand. Really, I'm rather surprised that some of these wackos HAVEN'T gone ballistic over Aunt Jemima. Will someone go nutty over a kid dressing as Aunt Jemima? I wouldn't bet good money on it.
Odd thing- A friend gave me a jar of real maple syrup. I couldn't tell the difference between it and the store bought stuff. |

Meah. I'd rather go it alone. Way less grief and aggravation. Also known as- "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
Refine your current situation. Build a better you by enjoying what is, what is easily worked on. Satisfaction comes from within. Others might think less of you, but if you like it- the hell with them. |

It could be that some older men have decreased sexual interest. There's one point that both of you ignored- Does the man Want to get involved with the woman? I'd wager that some men (like me) don't want to. The baggage that comes with a sex partner isn't so appealing. Or, the man sees no appeal in the available women. I came across a few street walkers in my younger days. Never saw one I'd have sex with, even if it was free. (And it wasn't) My ex used to complain about my sexual interest in her. What she never realized, is that when she dyed her hair red, that killed my interest in her. I never dated a red head, never approached one for dating. Red wasn't in my appealing category. Then I end up with one. It became sort of a mexican standoff. To retaliate, I shaved off my mustache. Now it seemed pretty childish, back then, it wasn't. These goofy articles seem to proclaim the true reasons for sexual interest. I say it's time to look at the appeal side of sex. "Or, the man sees no appeal in the available women." Yep.... When a guy looks like my dad did at age 55-65....it's really hard for me to get all tingly about him.. And, so many of the men in my age range look like that... Now, my dad was a nice looking guy, but...if they look like that..I just can't.. I'm sure if all the avaibale women looked like you mom...you wouldn't get bonertingles either. I'll agree with you on that one. To a point. That being that my mother was slender all of her life. I see very few older single women, that are slim. (In my area) So it's just easier not to bother. (Cheaper too) |

I love Bernie. I think he would do well to read more into contemporary economics. I kind of cringed at his, "Let's make the minimum wage 15$ ad!) but he's got the spirit of the sort of politician I'd like to see running this country. With that said we can't let the Democratic vote be fragmented by the, "so-and-so isn't far enough to the Left; Feel the BERN!" people again. It's a goddamned shame that there isn't a real Leftist party in the United States (at least not one relevant at the Federal level) but there isn't ever going to be if Republican's + Big Money keep winning elections. Progress needs to be gradual and evolutionary; falling short of a major revolution. Andrew Yang's UBI proposal is class. He isn't going to get the nomination but it's nice to see someone coming out of the tech sector (assuming tech VC's are included in the, "tech sector") with progressive ideas. I think it's worth noting that even good old Milton Friedman advocated for UBI in the 70's as the the Reverse Income Tax. It's time we moved to a model where every American citizen is afforded a decent standard of living. Poverty really, really sucks. Side-note-- Joe Biden would already be president if he wasn't so handsy. lolol. I'm not fond of politicians telling me what to do, and how to live my life. Stand by for a revolution if that happens. |

I built my identity, then got married. I hung onto it during the time I was married. When it flew apart, I just had more time for my identity. During my transition back to being single, it was something I used to get me over the hump.

Do you drive a Vehicle?

One very old man in a small town near me lost his licence to drive. So, he took up driving his tractor to town. Even the town cop admitted that he was better off driving that, than a car. It was slow, but he managed with it.

After Bernie's Illness ... he lost a daughter in law ... suddenly ... Not sure ... what he will do now... Keep going. He's power hungry. Given the chance, he'd take away everyone's money, freedom, and tell everyone what to do and how to live. |

With Epilepsy

Many moons ago, I had a girlfriend that had Grand mal Epilepsy. After watching several episodes, I knew what to do. Stuff her bite stick in, and wait for her to come to. It disturbed a good many people around us. I'd be sitting, shooing people away, calmly waiting for her to snap out of it. By their standards I was a pretty cold person. But there wasn't thing one I could about it. And they couldn't understand it. There was a Motorcycle track near her home. The local EMT's knew her, and her problem. She up and had one there. Other spectators saw it and rushed them over to help. Once they saw her, and me, they walked away. They couldn't do anything, nor could I. It just looked REALLY cold.

Are you sure? Someone supports the trump? How can that be true? Bring Charles back! A lot of people support Trump. Charles dropped off the face of the earth. He deactivated. Could be he had some sort of health crisis, or even neptunians took him away. Why he pulled a Judge Cratta, who knows. |

What brought this up was 3 different people I was messaging asked, "You've been on this site for weeks and haven't been on dates yet?"
I never had anyone ask me that question. But then, I found out some guys could never get a woman to answer their first messages. I've had just a couple. (In 7 years) The two that did, couldn't understand it, ether. I got over that years ago. Not that it kept me up at night, I guess it wasn't that I thought it was so important to fret over. People claim you could meet someone at the grocery store, or Lowes, or some place like that.. Bull. Who knows if they are single, or even interested in meeting/ talking to someone. I've puzzled over that one myself. I might have had one at one time trying to instigate a conversation with me. But I was at that store for another reason, and I was preoccupied with that. It didn't occur to me until after I left, that she was. No one that I ever saw in a store, I'd make a move on. They are there for a reason, it's not my place to disturb them. Oh well. Not everyone is cut out for dating. |

Meeting Local Ladies
|
|
Ok people , , ,can u all give me any idea why I,m having so much trouble actually communicating with lady somewhat close to my age , , ,I,m 61 , ,I,m messaging lady's from 49 to 65 , ,been on this site about 3 months or so , ,an I,'ve messaged over 200 different lady's , , most all from OR , , where I,'ll soon be moving to , , , only 1 has actually answered , ,, 2 others messaged me , , an I answered both , , ,but our life styles AR so different , , the one that did message me back , , seem to have promis , we were getting along fine , , ,lol , ,untill I asked how many kids she had , an their flavors ??? She answered back 2 men , ,then she said , , ,flavors ????? I guess Vanilla , ,then she say , ,That's an odd question to ask !!! An before I could message her back to explain , ,all I ment by flavors was , ,are they boys or girls , , ,SHE BLOCKED ME !!! If it wasn't for bad luck , , ,I,m wouldn't be having any luck at all , , ,so , my question to u lady's is , , ,an I,m sure some men will weigh in also , , ,but I,m mainly interested in hearing what the lady's have to say , , ,why are so few lady's responding to my messages , ,an pretty much what I,m saying in my messages is , ,ur pretty , we seem to have so things in common ,I,d like to talk more about it with u , , , , I have put lots of info , in my profile along with quite a few current pics , , ,so , ,what the heck am I doing wronge ?????? I know the drill, what you're saying isn't unusual. Once you hit about, ohh, three, four years down the road with no worthwhile responses, you'll come to the conclusion that it's all a bad deal, and push onto better, more rewarding ventures. One suggestion though, message like you're talking to someone in real life. It's a bit more to do, you just might be rewarded for doing so. |
