Labels define how we view ourselves. When we die, our obituaries tells the world who we were. What labels have you given yourself?
"I'm a homemaker, a painter, and a want a be writer." How about you? |

There came the day when I had to say, "Good Bye" saying good bye is one of the hardest thing I ever had to do. Saying, good bye is a hard thing to do, it will let you know how much you really care about life and everything you love. I remember when you said, it's time for me to say, "Good Bye" don't cry over me because I've cried enough for both of us because it is time to say, "GOOD BYE."

Loving You, I never knew that loving someone would make me feel so many different feelings all at once. The passion between us was amazing, it was as though lightening surged through my body, so powerful, strong, and exciting. When I looked into your eyes my heart beat so hard and fast, it felt like my heart would burst out of my chest.
Is it possible, I might have been dreaming, it was so unreal. I think something that wonderful just couldn't be real. Loving you has been the best thing that ever happened to me. And if I never love again, I'll know that I truly loved and how wonderful it made me feel. I know what it feels like to love. I know that I truly loved you... I've learned that love is something everyone should feel. When you fall in love you will know it, there are no words to express how you feel, you just know that you never want to let go of it. So if you ever find that special love, make sure that you hold on to it, because it will be the best thing you'll ever have. And, if you're lucky it will last forever! |

Mo, may I? === A country wife, From early childhood, into adolescence and adulthood I was taught to be A country wife, What I learned was that a country wife has got to be her man's partner, She knows how to keep the house clean and tend to the children, ( The garden, the cooking, and manage the finances, ) And at the end of the day she makes her husband feel loved, Now none of this requires makeup or a weekly visit to the beauty parlor, To have the hair and nails done . . . And, most country wives are happy like that. mowildflower === Tommy, thank you |

I have learned, that living alone, at first it was not easy in the beginning but now I rather enjoy being alone. I would rather be alone than in the company of someone who I have little in common with and just tolerate. The older I get the longer the list of turn offs and shorter the list of things that are a turn on, the results being, I'd rather be alone, with my own company than the company of anyone one who is a turn off. I will remain single until someone comes along who can change my mind. I will live, learn, and laugh because I can, I am who I am. Life is a learning process which will not end until I breathe my last breath.
Living alone is not so bad, it's not a bad thing, I can come and go as I please. I can mingle with whoever I please, whenever I please. |

I have learned, that time stands still for no one. Yesterdays, are history. History has been written, to become part of tomorrow. Some things just happen, some things we chose. There is a time to stay, then there is a time to walk away.

Bad Liar? I'm the worst kind of liar you could imagine. I mean half the lies I tell aren't true. To give you an example my grandson asked me, "Grandad why is the sky blue?" I said in reply, " No you can't have an ice cream." He seemed happy with that, so I changed my mind and bought an ice cream. It was really tasty. R Thank you for the help and comment. |

I've learned,
if you can't say something good, it is better to say nothing at all. people only hear what they want to hear. be peaceable with all men, do onto others as you want them to do onto you. saying, "I'm sorry" when sincere can prevent most conflicts. |

I routinely drop in to see if anyone is around. This use to be where all the good folks began their morning. Now I ask, where has everyone gone? I really was quiet fond of the folks who use to meet here of a morning for coffee. I agree with Foszil, it really is a shame.

GRANDMAS ARE SMART
At least I have my grandson convinced that there is some truth to that. When my grandson and I was out walking the other day he picked something up off the ground and started to put it in his mouth. I took the item away from him and asked him not to do that. He asked me, "Why?" I replied, by telling him, "Because it's been on the ground, it's dirty, and probably has germs, and germs sometimes make little boys sick. My grandson looked at me, at this point, with total admiration and asked, "Grandma, how do you know all this stuff? You are so smart." I said to him, with a grin on my face, "All Grandmas know this stuff. It's on the Grandma Test. You have to know it, or they don't let you be a Grandma." He evidently was pondering this new information as we walked along in silence for a time. After a couple of minutes his reply was, "Oh...I get it! He beamed, So if you don't pass the test you have to be the GRANDPA." "Exactly," I replied with a big smile on my face, thinking not only are Grandmas smart but that is one smart grandson. |

A writer needs a reader, and I want to write. So tell me what your thoughts are.
Let me start off with what I know and have learned, I was told to write about the things I know and just start putting it down on paper. So now, fellow writers and poets allow me to share some of my thoughts. I've tried my hand at writing poetry but I'm just not very good at it. |

Good Morning my poet friend. The river and streams call to me this time of year. I often wish I was a poet and writer so I could write about the things I experience. I admire your gift to shape words with emotions and depth so elegantly. May you have a fine day.
