On Medieval Spiritual Grounds

Risen from this lower, medieval spiritual ground upon which
My forefathers, as nobles, once notably dwelt,

On this grandest of quests, walking among the commoners of our times,
( And in their times - astride their holy footprints, )

Upon this golden throne, cast trendily forward, from all my lamentations,
from this day hence - left adrift on your most sacred winds of sadness,

I shall be your Saint!

Ireland is like a glowing shadow cast upon mystery's far hill, as I arrive on cascading,
Radiant rainbows - with little more than that which the Lord hath given me,

Long ancient night, gift of the earthen promise and of pardon,
Holy dreams, touched and possessed, around each new emanating corner -

May we all in this kingdom be blessed,

( I shall be your Saint. )

Tommy, I applaud you, well done my poet friend.

...moving forward after being left adrift in sadness to the hollow grounds of your ancestors and finding a gift of new found blessings around each new emanating corner and finding contentment with little more than that which the Lord hadth given you. Real deal, nice read!

Aye it is not the gold at the end of the rainbow. It is the hope, dreams, pride of the Irish.

waving Good Morning my poet friend. The river and streams call to me this time of year. I often wish I was a poet and writer so I could write about the things I experience. I admire your gift to shape words with emotions and depth so elegantly. May you have a fine day.

mo, my wild flower,

Yes, judging on all you've mentioned about drifting out on those local rivers, mo, and sitting along those warm river shorelines, I'd say they're always calling ye. Ah but, we both now know winter's not all that long away and the rivers will have to wait then until the coming of next year's warm seasons.

Thank ye, mo. Thank ye for bringing me back to your most recent exploits. It was fun. Pleasant remembrances. You are fine.
