Hi Carold good to know you are still around, you've been missed like so many of the other folks that was around a couple of years ago.
It is not the same here on Mingle2 these days. There was a time when this is where you could meet some really great people and joined in some lively conversations. That is not the case anymore. Perhaps, they are like me, I stop by to look around but when I don't find anyone I know I don't bother to join the conversations. I guess it is like so many other things in life, living is about changes... |

If people were forced to wear a warning label, what would yours say? Mine would say, ...beware gives hugs. |

This is how I feel... I didn't always feel this way but the longer I live alone the more I enjoy being alone. |

Good ol' Boys
A tight knit friendship between white males of small towns and rural areas, they usually don't sweat the small stuff or take life too serious, they're known to be good-natured and boisterous, like cheap beer, hunting an' fishing, hunting dogs and old pick ups. Usually friendly to others unless they think one of their own is in trouble, not necessarily a bad person, but may often be portrayed as a racist, aside from occasionally cracking a racist joke with his buddies, most could care less, seldom meets a stranger, they waves or nods to everyone passing by. Cracking jokes and talking smart is the fiber of the bond they share, it's all about having a good time and hanging around together, life is simple, no one gets in a big hurry, it's all about fun n' games, back roads, lots of fresh air n' lots of living and they like it that way. |

Ode, to Spring, warm sunshine, gentle breeze, flowers blooming, birds singing, bubbling brooks, water crossings, horse n' cart, perhaps a mule, meandering down, a twisty old back road, peace n' harmony abounds. Think I'll pack a picnic lunch. |

A drive down one of these old twisty country roads allows a person to reflex on what is important. The "good old boys" will tell you that life just don't get no better.

It's been awhile, many members no longer around. It's not the same, I miss the inspiration I found reading what others shared. |
