RULES OF LIFE

Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.
Nothing is good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
To travel hopefully is better than arriving.
In matters of style, swim with the current. In matters of principle, stand like a rock.
If you do not stand for something, you will fall for anything.
Courage is resistance of fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear.
One individual with courage is a majority.
If you judge people, you have no time to love them.
Praise in public, criticize in private.
Well done is better than well said.
Some goals are so worthy, it's glorious even to fail.
Do not judge those who try and fail, judge only those who fail to try.
A friend is a gift you give yourself.
Happiness is not the absence of problems, but the ability to deal with them.
Prefer a loss to a dishonest gain; one brings pain at the moment the other for all times.
Imagination is more important than knowledge.
There is no better Experience for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.
I expect to pass through this life but once. If, therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good deed I can do. Let me do it now. For I shall not pass this way again.
The smallest act of kindness is better than the grandest intention.
Treasure the love you receive above all, it will survive long after your gold and good health has vanished.
Success Seems to be largely a matter of hanging on after others have let go.
We do not see things as they are; we see things as we are.
Self-reliance is like a flashlight: no matter how dark it gets, it will help you find your way.
You are free the moment you do not look outside yourself for someone to solve your problems.
He who lives well, laughs often, and loves much, is very successful.
We make a living by what we get: we make a life by what we give.
When you cannot change the direction of the wind - adjust your sails.
The greatest ignorance is to reject something you know nothing about.
Never give up on anybody: miracles happen everyday.
Surprise loved ones with little unexpected gifts.
Stop blaming others; take responsibility for every area of your life.
Make the best of bad situations.
Use your wit to amuse, not abuse.
Think big thoughts. But relish small pleasures.
Learn to listen. Opportunity sometimes knocks very quietly.
Never deprive someone of hope; it might be all they have.
Strive for excellence, not perfection.
Pray not for things, but for wisdom and courage.
Show respect for all living things.
Do not lose time grieving over past mistakes, learn from them and move on.
Keep your promises.
Be willing to lose a battle in order to win a war.
Leave everything a little better then when you find it
No matter how dire the situation, always keep your cool.
Practice empathy. Try to see things from other people’s point of view.
Do not burn bridges: you'll be surprised how many times you'll have to cross the same river.
See problems as opportunities for growth and self-mastery.
Judge your success by the degree that you’re enjoying peace, health and love.
Hear both sides before judging.
Remember that winners do what losers do not want to do.
Live your life as an exclamation, not an explanation.
Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you love them.
Take charge of your attitude, don't let someone else choose it for you.
Be loyal.
Focus on making things better, not bigger.
Do not flaunt your success, but don't apologize for it either.
Take care of your reputation; it's your most valuable asset.
Do not use time or words carelessly. Neither can be retrieved.
Do not interrupt.
Go the distance. When you except a task, finish it.
Give people the benefit of the doubt.
Be a leader: remember, the leading sled dog is the only one with a decent view.
Be willing to have fun: Remember, today's mightiest oak tree is just yesterdays nut that held it's ground

that's how I live. But, I can't stand being around negative people... Does that mean I still have hatred in my heart. Like they say, Do not judge those that try and fail: Judge only those that fail to try.................

I say just tell people where to find you and if they see that you are for real, they will usually contact you. But, do not be rude. There are allot of good people here.
