Myself I want to exchange some messaged here prior.. At least for a few days to make sure they are even who they say or live where they say.. And to see how the conversation goes.. Then it's a meet half way from where they live and I live.. I pick some restaurants in between and let them know so we decide on which place is best. I always let them know the first meet is Dutch.. That way I order what I want too and same with them.. If all goes well then a second meet.... So you can't meet him outside the country For me that is a big NO it's local or nothing.. I'm not moving ~~~ |

Humm so you have been on an International Site that anyone in the world can join and wonder why there are more out of the states on this app??
To be such a big investor yourself, that is if that picture belongs to you. Makes me wonder why it took you 4 years to figure out that many are outside the US, regardless of location many are not on the internet for the better?? Makes me wonder seems your research skills even as an investor might be a bit rusty.. Fully automatic re-setting of 'joining date' happens on lots of sites. All sofware bugs/tricks. I have never seen or heard of that happening on this site it is impossible for anyone to pay before they join.. |

Humm even if you upgrade they will be there.. There are AdBlockers that you need to download in order not to see the ads.. AdBlockerPlus is what I use works great.. I use AdBlockers and still get that same pop ups as it is a Mingle2 advert and not a 3rd party Well not sure if it is different on a phone or computer but I use the AdBlockerPlus and I don't see any ads on the computer.. The only Pop-Up I get is the one for you to send your likes but that is not an add that is part of Mingle2. |

Post your query in the HELP forum and maybe one of the moderators will be able to help you... There has not been any Moderators in over a year for the Forums~~~ Only forum members answer those Questions.. Besides his picture is up they have to wait to have them approved before they show up.. So all they have to do is wait till that happens. |

. QUESTION: What if you for instance are the caretaker of an elderly parent? Are there reason that excuse you from jury duty? Matter of fact I received a summons last year again. Yes you can go online and they have a list of reasons why you can not serve one of them is if you are a full time Caregiver.. Due to the fact I get paid for being a Caregiver with my part time job, they would not let me take that choice.. But if you are a Full time Caregiver for a family member you can in fact get out of serving for Jury Duty.. One of my friends is a caregiver for her Grandfather and was able to get exempt from going this last year.. But with me I was able to take the option to put it off for later in the year which I was able to pick a month I picked December due to I was told there is not many cases in that month so I would most likely just be skipped due to the month I picked.. This was last year and I was not contacted back again..as of yet.. But yes as some say if you do not respond or do not show up they can come after you.. But it is not something they always do.. |

As far as Jury Duty you can't legally be terminated due to you have jury duty, at least not in the U.S.
If an Employer was to fire someone on that term they would be sued... The one time I served on Jury Duty was for a landlord evicting a tenant. There was roof damage that the landlord was trying to sue them for as well as back rent. And wanted money for having a clogged toilet fixed, as well as damages from a leak under the kitchen sink.. At first several was saying charge them for all to the tenant and make them move out.. But the tenant also had a bill for tree being trimmed and hauled off that was by the house.. which the landlord is responsible for. Well I'm not one to be quiet so I brought up that the damage to the roof was the Landlords fault for the roofing company even stated the damage to the shingles was due to a tree branches rubbing against the shingles for way to long.. The issue with the water damage under the sink.. Again the landlord admitted he had noticed the leak due to a bucket under the sink yet did nothing.. Now the toilet issue yea I voted that bill to go to the tenant as well as back rent since they refuse to move... But the Bill for the tree removal and the sink was deducted from what the landlord wanted.. After I brought that all up, the rest seem to agree.. Honestly I was not backing down on what I thought was fair.. But yes a Judge will lay out what needs to be considered and will listen to any arguments the Jury have or questions if they need more info. They will explain in order for a Guilty Verdict it must be without a shadow of a doubt.. If just one on the jury votes not guilty and the rest say guilty if they can not come to terms it will end up with a hung jury... But as far as pay in the States you only get like $15 a day.. Most Employers will pay you full salary while you are called for Jury Duty.. I know they do where I work we just have to bring in the paperwork showing we have Jurty Duty.. Not saying what you say can't happen for sure it does at times.. |

 Reading the OP's statement and the comments. I have to agree with those that feel one drink is not a deal breaker when going out to eat..
Myself when I go out to eat I do normally order a drink, if I'm treating myself going to a Restaurant then I'm going to have a drink with my meal.. Many times at home I do the same but it is just the one drink.. But then if you ask someone out you should expect them to order what they would if they went out to eat.. Or make it clear the first meet is dutch.. Which I always have and even had some get mad at me for that.. My reason was cause I want a drink and no guarantee there will be a 2nd meet. So I assume if you took her to the movies, you would expect her to share with you instead of her own popcorn?? All I can say is if ya can't afford the date, then don't ask someone to go out~~~ It kills me for all one has to do is ask questions prior to meeting someone for a meet.. Make sure they are on your level what you like or dislike.. Really I mean if you don't smoke and hate it, are you going to go out with a smoker? Most will not...So why even set up a meet knowing that?? You see for that is pretty much what you did! Ask Questions~~ |
