If you love life, don't waste time, for time is what life is made up of. Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, for time is short. Thanks for the advice; you are right. But I asked about the connection of Past;Present and Future. *********************************************** The top says " Topic: Time and Life " Perhaps " PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE " would have been more, you know ?? You got me confused intentionally ?? Not really |

Hi Funzy, nice to meet you and thx for you post, was very interesting. I love too the Alvear PX 1927 Pedro Ximenez, it´s spicy ( i apologyze again, i don´t know the tasting terms in english) and with a great coffe and nuts aroma and bouquet, the only default that i found in this wine is that has hight acetaldehyde. The wine called Suertes del Marqués (2010, white wine) making with malvasía and listán blanco is marvellous, perhaps one of the best white wines that i tasted in the last years. Try to taste somes wines with the grape "Listán Negro", it´s not so expensive (20 €) and spectacular wine for it´s price is the wine called "Ariadna" Bodegas "El Grifo". If you like sweet wines i can recommend you the wines making in Ribeiro (Galicia, Spain) called "Tostados de Ribiero", they don´t do it like Tokaji or Sauternes wines ( with Botritys Cinerea), the desiccate the grape with wind. Will be a pleasure taste your sparkling wines, i´m sure that will be so tasty. ********************************************* Hi there " curioso186 " All wines have preserv or " acetaldehyde " these days ( Poison ). Can't escape from that unless one makes his/her own. Thanks for directing me towards Ribeiro ( Galicia ) region . Tostados by Ribeiro or Adriana by El Grifo ?? Will try to find it when I go visit my daughter in the big smoke city of Sydney next time I live Far Out West country, and the SPECIALTY WINE SHOPS ARE ONLY WHERE THE BIG MONEY FLOWS Pleasure talking with you Oh..Forgive me for not minding my own business I suggest you add some sparks & spices to your profile . Looks dry and empty as it is I am sure you can easy find a gal to have an Intelligent, decent and interesting conversation/s . Looks to me you have the potential ( For now ) GIVE IT A TRY The hight presence of acetaldehyde means that the wine has been oxidized to excess, but this is not uncommon in PX wines, but in this case ( Alvear PX 1927) it makes me very noticeable in the nose. Perhaps you would like to say sulphurous gas (SO2), which is used to prevent the onset of fungal, bacterial, oxidation and oxidase reactions. I personally prefer the Tostados de Ribeiro, but they are much more expensive (around € 50 a pint) than the Ariadna (like the Greek myth of Ariadna). Thanks for the advice on my profile, I am new and I still do not dominate the web (and I am not premium) ***************************************** SULPHATES ..I know what is to know friend. Personally I am a bit allergic to all kinds. MSG, Sulphates, artif sweets, Preserv. I am careful what I eat or drink. Mostly raw organic food my diet consists of. At my age of 65 and over, I still don't have a medical file or record/s yet.. I must of done something right One never dominates the web, just plays along. That's best way to be to survive the dingoes, snakes & sharks . TRUST ME, YOU DON'T HAVE TO BECOME PREMIUM MEMBER TO ENJOY MOST OF THE BENEFITS.....FREE IS JUST AS GOOD. Visit the forums and learn from the veterans. You will cross many kinds of people. Some will PUT YOU DOWN, some WILL GUIDE & HELP you. AVOID the ONES WHO LIKE TO BE TOO PHILOSOPHIC & OUTSMART YOU You will meet ONE DUDE IN PARTICULAR ( I will not mention his name yet ) .... He loves himself and OUTSMARTS THE NEWBIES or ANYONE he can WALK OVER....Thinks is SMART wearing his smart hat and hiding under 2 profiles the least ?? ....ANYWAY At least he shaved lately You will know him soon Once you get familiar with the forums, you will love it. Best of luck |

Hi there
I was born on the wynyard back in Eastern Europe. Our 16 acres of wynyard/s..Some old some new. I live Down Under now. As a kid, my job was to drive the 4 bulls pulling a huge wooden car full of grapes. As I grew up I was in charge of natural fertilisers dept....lol Ya know, POP & SHOVEL I'm not an expert mind you, but I hold a family secret of making champagne from any quality with just one grain of old Chinese rice..YES, rice. I know a bit about wines ..In my opinion, the Red Muscat grapes and Malaga grapes makes the best sweet red. ..I LOVE SWEET RED. So it goes for white muscat grapes. The older the vintage, the better the quality...That's a no brainer for wine growers. The less water before harvest, the sweeter the grapes. My top favorite Aussie wine will be CIENA by Brown Brothers. Of-course, we have some exceptional quality our days here in Oz. My favorite Spanish wines are Alvear PX 1927, Montilla-Moriles, Moscatel Oro Los Cuartillos , and Suertes del Marqués Listán Blanco Malvasía, Valle de la Orotava (Canary Islands). I personally love 2 or 3 glasses no more. What's the point of drinking to get mery ( Akka drunk ), if ya don't enjoy the flavour & taste. PS:..Every type or quality of wine have A BODY LANGUAGE. That's if you get what I meant. |

SOUNDS LIKE ME & MY DAD
A Jewish father was very troubled by the way his son turned out and went to see his rabbi about it. “Rabbi, I brought him up in the faith, gave him a very expensive Bar Mitzvah and it cost me a fortune to educate him. Then he tells me last week, he’s decided to be a Christian. Rabbi, where did I go wrong?” The rabbi strokes his beard and says, “Funny you should come to me. I too, brought up my son as a boy of faith, sent him to university and it cost me a fortune and then one day he comes to me and tells me he wants to be a Christian.” “What did you do?” asked the man of the rabbi. “I turned to God for the answer,” replied the rabbi. “What did he say?” asked the man. He said, “Funny you should come to me...” |

One for the COSHER boys ..
Two kids are in a hospital each lying on a stretcher next to each other outside the operating room. The first kid leans over and asks, “what are you in here for?” The second kid says, “I’m getting my tonsils out. I’m a little nervous.” The first kid says, “You’ve got nothing to worry about. I had that done when I was four. They put you to sleep and when you wake up, they give you lots of jello and ice cream. It’s a breeze.” The second kid then asked, “What are you in here for?” The first kids says, “a circumcision.” The second kid replies, “Whoa, good luck buddy. I had that done when I was born and I couldn’t walk for a year.” |
