Reworking garden shed
|
|
Anyone had any experience or tips about reworking an old aluminum garden shed? I am trying to decide whether to just do a little interior propping or take it apart. I thought if I did I could quick_crete a concrete paver floor, build a 4x4post and 2x4 canopy frame with roof beams and add the aluminum back on. I have a power drill but not sure how easy getting some of the screws out might be? I have the lumber but I don't know if some kind of metal slip together braces are even available without buying a whole kit? Tips, advice, is this too much for one person project? . ****************************************************** YES...Take it from an ex farmer old boy MY TIP to you is,..Don't panic, ..All is good. GET or LET A MAN TO DO IT.. ( Friend, Neighbour or even an EX ) Okay, that was pun intended |

please give examples of when to say that a person is just stringing you along and what do you do about it. thanks ************************************************* Personally I DON'T MAKE PROMISES I can't, or not sure if I can fulfill them. Specially, I don't tie anyone to a tree. But when or if I DO MAKE PROMISES, means trouble/s THERE GOES THE HOT WATER BOTTLE FOR BOTH When it comes to " stringing ", I prefer friendship/s WITH NO STRING/S ATTACHED first thing first..That gives me time to DECIDE. Here are some examples you asked 4 |

Story of a Blind Love
There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she’s blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend. One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she could see everything, including her boyfriend. Her boyfriend asked her, “Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?” The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend is blind too, and refused to marry him. Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying – “Just take care of my eyes dear”. |

If maturity equals wisdom, no. I'm not. I'm not good at reading people ************************************** I wrote that Wisdom & Experience have or there is a beauty hidden behind it. In my opinion, but I can be wrong, maturity can show wisdom and/or experience. But then again, one doesn't have to be wise to show maturity...It can be shown by being kind, polite, respectful, humble, and/or gratitude. That's how I see it when I show maturity. Cheers and tanks 4 the input *************************************** Thanks ...Like-ways back at you Now finally I find it today...LOL Was looking in my library last night. |

I consider myself "a work in progress". As far as being mature or immature, I'd have to say both, which is the reason I am still a work in progress. I never really got the "act your age" thing, and if there was a book out there that I don't know about that details how each of us should be at a certain age, I would most likely laugh and pick it apart. I only know that I am me, imperfections and all. I take responsibility for my choices and behavior in life and I embrace the inner child in me, both the child-like qualities and the childish parts(the part of me that's still a work in progress). *************************************** Hi there gorgeous Am I in trouble for saying it ?? I HEAR YOU ...YES I DO...ATTAGIRL More than often I FEEL LIKE THIS ((( HUGS ))) |

All I can say is... I've had my childish moments.... and I try to have one at least every day...lol ************************************** Way to go ... I find out lately that just by being here on M2 helps me let my inner child like spirit out and free. Except when " cireton " is around, I'M GETTING ANNOYED & FRUSTRATED |

I make mature decisions every day. Serious stuff. Affects a lot of people. I live a very mature life. but I think it important to have a balance.. a outlet. And for me, and when the right opportunity arises, I use humor. I find that levels out most everything.. for me, anyway. *************************************** ...Humour & fun ...Yesssss. Even at 65 ..WHO CARES .. I work also with people daily , members & customers, etc, ( When I work my days or nights ) and have to make mature & responsible decisions. I take it very serious when at it. That's why my balance hides behind the statement of. " I AM A WORK IN PROGRESS " |
