I'm a visual person so he has to be the most handsome guy TO ME.. what is attractive to me, may not be attractive to others. Attractiveness is subjective. We must be able to meet in person to see if we have chemistry. He could have all the attributes of a good match on paper but if there is no chemistry between us when we meet then there would be no second date. Sense of humour is important to me.. I don't want someone who is always serious but I also don't want someone who is clownish. Our sense of humour should be on the same page. I'm comfortable, happy and content living alone with my cat Pumpkin.. so I have the luxury of waiting for the perfect guy.. he might not be perfect for everyone but he would be FOR ME. I personally see the 'Looking For' first. As far as I am concerned all the reasons are seeking friendship in one form or another. M2 is designed to connect singles. Looking for Friends tells me the person is not looking for intimacy at all and just looking for a platonic friendship for any reason, that may or may not be a real-world scenario. Looking for a Relationship tells me that they are looking for something more than friendship that could include intimacy and might be a lasting relationship intended to eventually be face to face. Looking for an Intimate Encounter tells me they want sex now and the real world scenario is vital and immediate. The sex will be meaningless and might also be very dangerous. While friendship might occur it is not vital. I will pen-pal the first Woo the second and Ignore the third. Thanks Tom, you explained this well. I had changed mine from relationship to friendship because so far everyone lives too far away, and I kind of gave up on the idea that I would meet anyone close by. Plus ultimately, it all begins with friendship. Deep down though, my desire is to be in a relationship eventually. So, I suppose changing it back to interested in a relationship makes sense. Wouldn't want to be passed up by someone thinking I am only interested in being a friend

When I trained as volunteer for wild animals rescue shelters, we went to Sydney to get a specialised teaching on some cold waters creatures also. I HAVE SEEN EX-RAYS OF PENGUINS LEGS AND YES, THEY HAVE KNEES ... LOL

Can you genuinely remove arguing from a relationship or do you believe arguing is a natural part of a healthy relationship? What happens if you find arguing detrimental but your partner finds it natural? Me ?? ..I don't argue even if I'm right . I always make sure I have built my dog's house fully equipped with a bar-fridge & lots of beer, a comfy hammock and an alarm clock before I move in with her.

In my own simple words without being too philosophical.
Personally I can only guess that she may be a match, but that needs time to be sure. 3 basic rules apply for me..1-Chemistry, 2-Compatibility, 3-Receptivity. CHEMISTRY - WHEN I NEVER HAVE ENOUGH OF CHATTING WITH HER. COMPATIBILITY - WHEN I FEEL I MISS HER IF SHE IS NOT ONLINE. RECEPTIVITY - WHEN I KNOW I NEED HER KIND OF PERSONALITY if/or WITH OTHERS ONLINE. Last, I can say this..I'M NOT FUSSY, but I need that VIBES CONTACT.

Perhaps this may help... The past is the past and no matter how much we want we can never change it. If we live in the present and not worry of the future our happiness can be measured in a lifetime. All the immutable past made us who we are today and we are not the same as we were then, Live in today and use the past to make every moment special. As a general rule, most men aren’t very interested in talking about their feelings. Also, the mundane details of their day? Where they went to lunch? Who said what to whom? Not only are men not interested in discussing these things, they’re afraid if they do, it might prompt the woman to spend 15 minutes telling him all the details of her day.
Also, because many women tend to over-analyze, they assign all sorts of deep meaning to trivial gestures and then demand explanations. Sometimes a rose is just a rose and five minutes of silence is just a man thinking about what he has to do at work tomorrow. You want to get a man to talk? It’s not hard. Ask him to explain what’s going on in a UFC fight or what his favorite sexual fantasy is and you’ll have trouble getting him to shut up. *************************************************** Sometimes , when I run-out of answer/s or need writing inspiration I search Google for the QUOTES. Yeah Funzy, I got the same impression but just recently I met a couple that were in their 70s and were getting married. While talking to them about it I found out they were in high school together and had a crush on each other but never did anything about it. They both looked very happy right now and I assumed this might be a similar thing. They did get married and as far as I know they are still very happy with their decision. If the OP is still thinking about her, there was obviously something there. What could it hurt to see if she has had a change of heart? ************************************ I think I understand the high-school sweethearts walking apart each on his/her way, then, 30 or 40 years later getting together again. It is very common these days in every country, cultures, religions or customs. SURE, the story of the OP is or may seem a bit mysterious, interesting and intrigued, that kind of, COULD BE SOLVED, UNDERSTOOD and/or CLARIFIED LONG TIME AGO.
