Wow toyhup
That was certainly a perspective put forth rather succinctly. It is nonethe less very well considered from a man's viewpoint and fairly obviously Sandy has a female bias with some romantic considerations because she wants her dream and perhaps here she will find it.As will you, with a little luck and an honest conversation. Personally I believe that you are both correct and reasonable which I find quite puzzling because they are so seemingly different. How would either of you reconcile with the others' different ideas?.

In New Zealand they are bikkies. The dark empire does not have them and that angers them and they use guns in their darkness and try to steal the biscuits of the en(light)ened ones. Have fun

Just think of all the profound joy that the US will have for a week and rejoice in their dismay when you leave them. Darkness will once again descend upon them.

America should be very afraid....She is coming....and an angry cat with watermelon seed attached to its lip is a very frightening sight to behold.

Well
I hope that your cat still loves you, I know how forgiving they are, especially when you're very apologetic even though you are still chuckling. This is off topic but .....

I once had a cat who had a haircut, being a long haired tabby, when I first saw her after the exercise, I could'nt help but burst into laughter. The cat was thoroughly mortified and went into hiding for two days. I wonder if your cat was as thoroughly ashamed at having a watermelon seed hanging on her lip.embarassed

Electronic cigarettes? Are they anything like non-alcaholic Scotch. I have to plead ignorance. What is an electronic cigarette?

Good evening everyone.
I came to this site because I am new to London. Bored, a little lonely at times, work to many hours...blah blah blah. Now I look forward to many of the forum issues as it gives me the opportunity to reconsider a lot of my own belief systems and prejudices. A good looking woman who wants a cup of coffee on the weekend is always a bonus. lol

Hi there. I lived in the United States for ten years and they are certainly a strange conglomerate of peoples, in my opinion. Barak Obama was probably elected on the basis that the only other alternative was John Mcain, who was seen as being to old and something of an anachronism from the Vietnam era. What Pres. Obama has done to upset so many is to have a concern for the greater majority on working class Americans and their general welfare. This does not sit well with middle class America and the ideals of capitalism. The health care reforms to which Pres. Obama subscribes and is desperately trying to teach that middle class entrenched group, is the backbone of much of the American economy. Health care is or rather may be seen to be, one of the largest industries in the US and because the HMO's and research organisations do not desire to see their profit margins shrinkut , the leadership of these industries are doing all that they can to stir the masses to action based on fear of socialism. That is an abridged opinion but I believe that it is part of the greater issue of the Tall Poppy syndrome. Barak Obama is the right choice for a changing America and it isd time that the American public woke up to that.
