Bedroom golf

The player will furnish his own equipment for play, normally one club
and two balls.
Owner of the course must approve equipment before play may begin.

Unlike regular golf, the object of the game is to get the club into the
hole while keeping the balls out.

For most effective play, the club should have a firm shaft. The course
owner may check the stiffness of the shaft before allowing play to
commence.

Course owner reserves the right to restrict the shaft length, so as to
avoid damage to the course.

The object of the game is to take as many strokes as possible, until the
course owner is satisfied.

Players are cautioned to play the correct hole, as indicated by the
course owner.

It is considered bad form to begin playing the hole immediately upon
arrival at the course. Experienced players will admire the course,
paying special attention to the well-formed bunkers.

Players are cautioned not to mention other courses the have played
recently to the owner of the course presently being played.

If the course to be played is temporarily under repair, player is
advised to find alternate means of play.

It is considered outstanding form to play the hole several times in one
match.

Course owner shall be the judge of who is the best player.

It is considered bad form to reveal your score to other players, or even
that you have played the course.

Love is almost like suicide. Love just takes longer and is more painful.

It is with true love as it is with ghosts, everyone talks about it but
few have ever seen it.

Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a teardrop.

Love cannot save you from your own fate.

Love is a gross exaggeration of the difference between one person and
everybody else.

Love is the answer, but sex raises some pretty good questions while you
are waiting.

Love is the only game not called on account of darkness. Love is a perky
elf dancing a merry little jig, then suddenly he turns on you with a
miniature machine gun.

Love is blind and marriage is an institution for the blind.

Love is a matter of chemistry but sex is a matter of physics.

Love is blind and marriage is the eye opener!

Love is like the measles, the older you get the worse the attack.

If love is the answer, could you rephrase the question?

Sex without love is an empty experience, but as empty experiences go, it
is one of the best.

Sex allieviates tension, love causes it.

Love: a temporary insanity curable by marriage.

Love is only a dirty trick played on us to acheive the continuation of
the species.

I am not sure that any reply given by anyone will answer your question.
I know that I am not the one to even attempt it. The best of luck to you
in finding the knowledge you seek.

Cudos to Bryan for a well written response.

Sis, as we both know very well, there are idiots everywhere. Never take
what someone with the I.Q. of a retarded clam says to heart. Some people
were not raised with any value for their fellow human being & if they
were, they quickly forgot them. I have tried to be nice & see things
from their point of view, but somehow I just can't seem to get my head
that far up my a$$. My Grandmother always said "Consider the source &
decide if their comments or opinions mean anything thing to you."

I don't think the fear stems from "real love" as much as it does from
the possiblity of getting hurt by allowing another person to get that
close to you. If you don't fall in love with someone, it is virtually
impossible for them to hurt you. Self preservation. Just my opinion.

I feel that truly depends on the individual / individuals involved.
Physical age is only a number, but psychological age is a whole other
ballgame.

The one I would really like to "date" is no longer among us. That would
be Kurt Cobain. But Marilyn Manson would run a close second

Always be you, no matter what others think. Being what you are not or
wishing you were someone or something else is a waste of the fantastic
person you are.flowerforyou

Fear it? No, as fear comes from lack of understanding & I understand the
concept of marriage & plan to do my best to avoid it. Gives me the
creeps just thinking about it!!noway

First, I would like to thank everyone for their input on this subject.
Even though it was definitely not my intent to begin such an intense
discussion. This only solidifies my theory of why so many people who
have chosen the same path as myself remain behind closed doors. Too many
preconceived ideas of what Satanism is. Some of which will never be
modified to include the facts. The "description" given is fairly
accurate, but not exclusive to all that follow a Satanic path, as we are
all individuals.

Although I am sure there are many Christians who do not actively seek to
convert others, there are just as many that do. Those who are
non-Christian are not "lost", nor do they nessisarily need to be
"saved".

Many people are not of one "religion", but rather a combination of many
in their person beliefs. That would be logical, as we are individuals &
no one path could possibly encompass everything we desire or feel the
need for in our lives. I incorporate many philosophies within the core
of my beliefs.

As for stating what I am, I do not find being a Satanist any more or any
less than what it truly is TO ME. Not what it means to anyone else,
including other Satanists. I live what I believe. I am proud to be who &
what I am & do not feel the need to explain or rationalize what I am.

I must get out & do the work thing. I will do my best to answer any
questions you may have or have posted since I logged out last night. I
hope everyone has an incredible day. Thank you again to all who have
posted their thoughts & feelings on this subject. I appreciate your
input, intellegence & honesty.

Thank you very much, Redy, for your comments. I too began my search for
knowledge at about the same age. I was raised Mormon & attended Catholic
school. When I finally began going to public schools & they taught us
about Drawin's theory of evolution, I began to question all I had been
taught to be "factual". realizing that both versions could not be true,
I set out of a quest for knowledge. I think one of my first major
inquiries was the age old question "Did god create man or did man create
god?" To me knowledge is power & the more you learn, the more you grow &
the more powerful you become.

Thank you again & I must thank you for your interesting threads as well.
They are fun & informative. I like to see what other people think about
any given subject. I find human nature fascinating.

That book would have been The Satanic Bible, authored by Anton LaVey.
Obviously you have some knowledge of the concept of Satanism. Many of
the things you referred to were indeed addressed my Dr. LaVey in his
numerous books. There are many levels & areas of Satanism, including
LaVeyan, Traditional & Luciferian. Anyone who is seeking to learn more
should read one or more of his books or check online for information. I
am not here to answer everyone's questions or dispell myths concerning
my philosophies. I just was curious to know if there were any
like-minded individuals out there. May we put the lid on this preverbial
can of worms now? Thank you!!

What you stated is one of the largest problems concerning opinions of &
about what outsiders consider to be "satanism". A simple definition of
any word or term does not encompass all aspects. Hence the reason for a
Thesaurus. I did not say that ALL Satanists do not "worship" "Satan", I
said MOST worship nothing. There are numerous variables in every path. I
am not, nor have I ever been "confused" about my philosophical
beliefs/opinions. Referring to oneself as a Satanist does not in any way
make said person a "devil worshipper". Satanism is the epitomy of
non-standardism. It is one of the most individualistic forms of
"religious" expression available. Ignorance, not to be confused with
stupidity, is the main reason people question other peoples beliefs &
are condescending or judgemental of them.
