Today is Monday, February 11th, 2008
************************************

I just returned from Sao Paulo, Brazil last Tuesday and I spent the most happiest 12 days of my life down there with my wife- Renata. Renata and I were married on Saturday, January 26th at a notary and we had a wonderful evening reception from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Many thanks to JustSayHi for bringing us together. :D

Yes!!!

Renata and I are a sweet success! :D

I accidentally posted this announcement on another link and now I just saw this one.

I met my sweetie back in March of 2007 and within the first week, we both knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together.

Today is Monday, January 14th... and I'll be flying down to Sao Paulo, Brazil on Wednesday, January 23rd, arriving on Thursday morning- January 24th... and we are getting married on Saturday, January 26th at 7:00 in the morning. We'll spend a few hours back at the hotel, have our reception at 5 p.m. - 8 p.m., go back to the hotel, get some casual/dance clothes and then go out to an open-air PsyTrance event in Sao Paulo. We'll go shopping during the week, go to an Irish pub, go to a karaoke bar (so that I can sing to her), and then enjoy Carnaval on Friday, February 1st and maybe a couple of days afterwards. Then, I leave on Monday in the evening and return to Seattle by myself. After I get back, I have to go through the immigration attorney I picked in California, and get her up here in early August hopefully (as soon as possible really).

So, yes... thank you very, VERY much JustSayHi. As I mentioned, I don't consider this a "dating" site per se... because people really make friends... as in pen pals, and friends from around the world really. So, if people meet and they talk and those who are serious are SERIOUS about one another... love can be 5 miles from your doorstep or 6,000 miles away. It just matters if both people are honest, don't play games and are dedicated to be the wife or husband that they want to be... and give out the love to someone else by thinking of them and not themselves.

Thanks again and as far as I know- you all can use us as a success story once we have our wedding pics taken, etc. I'll talk it over with Renata, but I'm sure she's fine with it.

Many blessings...

"A woman's hair is a glory to God". Therefore, if she has no hair, she has no glory.

Of course, this cannot always be true, because I'm sure God realizes that there are women that have cancer out there, or their hair doesn't grow, etc.

It's just a woman looks like a damn man with short hair. Of course, over the years I've had a better approach to this, and some women do look good with short hair. But, really- I hate the "Sandy Duncan" look... but Dorothy Hamill was awesome (still is).

Well, being a Seahawk fan, they just blew it after it was 14-0. So, having Favre being 3 years younger than I am and playing like a stud like he always has... and being southern like me (he's from Mississippi and I'm from Louisiana)... I'm definitely going with:

Packers over the Giants
HOPEFULLY... Chargers over the Patriots... and then if that doesn't work...

Packers and Patriots... Packers win and upset the Patriots!

Yeah Baby!

From a Seahawk fan... Go Packers!!!

Thanks you all. :D

Yes- we want to have babies soon... like- NOW, or within the year. I at least want them before I'm 43... so- I have 2 years. Perhaps we can have 2 before then. I hope they look like her- dark hair. She wants them to have my eyes though. Hopefully, we'll have a boy and girl or better yet- twins (boy and girl).

Carnival is going to be crazy! But, I don't think we'll be getting out of the hotel too much. :) lol

Hi.

Ok... just so you all know- this is not to "bash" another team or anything, but it's just to show that the Seahawks are still under-rated and always will be until they win the Superbowl.

The Seahawks are currently 10-5. They SHOULD be 14-1. Some might say, "Why's that?" That's because of the following reasons:

1) They had 'mix-up' in the last minute when they played Arizona in Arizona.
2) They accidentally messed up when Hasselbeck called an audible against Cleveland (although that could have been Arizona, but it was still a messy play).
3) They should have definitely beat the Saints at home. Good grief!
4) And, they should have DEFINITELY beat Carolina. There was no offense or defense in that game.

Some say that the Seahawks had an "easy" schedule. Maybe, maybe not. Some of the teams that they played were tough... and the Eagles and Ravens (who they beat by the way)- both of them almost beat the Patriots.

So, I was afraid for a moment when I thought that Seahawks were going to go to Green Bay and play the Packers. If the Seahawks went to Dallas and played the Cowboys, they will beat the Cowboys. Of course, after the first round- no matter what team Seahawks play, they still might go to Green Bay and that is going to be their toughest game.

Other teams have not had to do as much traveling as the Seahawks either, except those teams on the west coast. So, some shouldn't say that the Seahawks had it easier when playing other teams. Pittsburgh beat them this year (but not in the Superbowl). Philly is good also, but Seahawks have to step it up another notch.

They have an awesome defense, and their offense- well, they have a very little running game and their passing game is awesome. So, I'm rooting for Seahawks and Patriots in the Superbowl.. and of course..... GO SEAHAWKS!!!

Our wedding date is set! :D

As previously discussed (many months ago), Renata and I are getting married very soon.

After several months of planning, going through the passport, visa issues, legal document issues on what needs to get stamped (Brazilian Consulate legalization), and all the stress we've both have had, everything is set. Everything was set anyways- but getting the important things done are now all over and it's all downhill from here.

I'll be traveling to Sao Paulo, Brazil on Wednesday, January 23rd and arriving there early morning on Thursday, January 24th. I'll finally be in my baby's arms and start spending my time with her. We'll be married on Saturday, January 26th and at the end of the next week, enjoy Carnival. Also, if the Seattle Seahawks make it to the Superbowl, we'll watch it that Sunday, February 3rd at around 9 p.m. their time on Latin ESPN. Then, I leave on February 4th around 11:45 p.m.

I'll spend about 12 days with Renata (10 days being married to her) and I'll have to come back alone, fill out the paperwork when I come back (or start it a week or two afterwards), and hopefully- she'll be up here in Seattle by the end of August.

We both wish all of you well and hopefully you'll make friends with others, and/or have long-lasting relationships (romantic or not) with them. We wish that you all will be safe and keep thanking the team at JustSayHi.

Many blessings...

Beside You

Many years of pain and sorrow-
and always wondering if there would be a tomorrow;
my head held high and soul made stronger.
Many lonely nights I would cry-
defending myself to prove I don't ever lie;
continuing to live a little bit longer.

From out of nowhere you came into my life-
and now you ended my world of strife;
you don't know what you have done to me.
You have shown me who you really are-
that you'll always be my shining star;
with all my hurtful memories, you have set me free.

Your depth, like mine, is deeper than the ocean-
compassion and love is just a fraction of our emotions;
you have given me hope, for this life- we both can start anew.
God listened to my plea and prayers-
and sent you to me to end my nightmares;
and all I ever want is to be forever beside you.

I have never loved a woman so much-
until you came into my life... my soul you touched;
you are truly a gift from God that I never want to lose.
As I mentioned to you before... our depth is also like space-
continuing forever while our love is full of grace;
living our lives together- we both have the same views.

Words, songs, and poetry can never describe-
the amount of love for you that I have inside;
as I breathe deeply and sometimes I have to catch my breath.
You lift me up, believe in me, and make me stronger-
and I always pray you'll love me a little while longer;
forever holding me close and keeping me away from death.

For, it is you and only you that I long to hold-
and with you and our children to come... I want to grow old;
knowing you'll never abandon me- I know our love is very true.
You're so beautiful inside and out, this is what I will forever see-
I love you from within, below me, above me and for eternity;
and my little sweet Renata- all I ever want is to be forever beside you.

I'm not only a southerner (one can never take the "south" out of them),
but also a Pacific Northwesterner, and a Democrat.

I ONLY wish that Barack Obama would team-up with Hillary Clinton and the
2 of them would rock the whole nation. Yeah baby!!!

However, based on your options... neither. I don't subscribe to the
"southern" / confederate flag holding / gun-toting, "shoot 'em up-
'bang-bang' theory, nor the Republican's option, and mostly wonder about
the options that were put for the Democrat.

"Thou shalt not raise thy hand against thy brethren" as the scriptures
say. However, when one is threatened- one can act differently. The
"Islamic Terrorist" only had a huge knife- not a gun. "Allah" is God and
I would question the "Islamic Terrorist" as to see if he has any
intelligence because he would be fighting for the same thing I would,
but shouldn't be "fighting" at all. What he really needs is to sit down
in peace- in a drum circle with his friends and everyone needs to pass
around the ganja and understand that "we", as Americans" are not what
"they" think we are... and they're just against the government and
shouldn't' be against "Americans"... and realize that some of us living
here are ALSO against our own stupid-a**, ridiculous government that
contradicts itself and treats the citizens of this country unfairly.

End of story.

My sister just got a brand new computer. She hardly ever used a
computer before and wasn't familiar with the internet. I was over one
day and she was looking up some "how to" (instructions) on her new
system using a search engine. She looked all comfortable when she sat
down and performed her 'index-finger' typing when she performed her
search. Of course- she had dial-up internet, so her system was slow.
She looked at me and then stood up and sort of twiddled her thumbs. I
asked, 'what are you doing?'. She said, 'it's searching and it says to
"please stand by".

I went to the grocery store to return a head of lettuce- after about 2
weeks of it being in my refridgerator.

I explained to the lady in the produce section that I had the head of
lettuce in my "crisper" and now the lettuce is wilted. She replied and
told me that I had to use the lettuce within a few days. I told her
that there were 2 problems with this story:

First, the "crisper" is supposed to make things CRISPER than they are,
right? So, I waited a couple of weeks and it looks like the lettuce
took a turn in the wrong direction. Perhaps the manufacturers of
refridgerators should call the freezer area the "WILTER" then- the
"crisper" would work as the opposite way than what the name of it is
(like the "Wilter" would do).

The lady then replied, "you'll have to take your "crisper" problems with
the refridgeration company."

I then said... "okay... fine... but, the second problem is that the head
of lettuce had no expiration date on it."

The lady then replied, "we have produce pricing strips right above our
produce with the weight, pricing, produce number, etc."

I then said, "oh... you mean the one-quarter inch strip that is
extremely hard to read even with reader glasses- that no one can see?"

The lady then replied, "you'll have to take your vision problems up with
your eye physician."

I then said, "so, may I speak with your manager? I would like to return
some spinach."

Thanks to all for your support.

I apologize to any readers, poets, moderators for remembering that rule
(to list) them all. Sorry. Please forgive me.

I have had a lot of poetry that I threw away, burnt, stolen (like from
an old ex-g/f in 2001)... and so, I do get inspired to write sometimes.
I haven't been for awhile for some reasons, but when I do start writing,
please remember that most of my poetry is NOT about the
"lovey-dovey"/romantic things.

Most of it is or could be controversial, to raise awareness (for
instance- Janet Reno's order to proceed with the demolition and burning
of the Branch Davidian- which killed... nevermind).

Sorry- started on a ramble there. I could really go off on that one
('freedom of religion' thing, leading to the Oklahoma City... there I go
again).

I thank everyone for being tolerant of my poetry- even if you don't
agree with it. It's meant to have some sort of positive influence at
least.

A couple of my favorites have been "Quiet Parks" and "A Common
Quietness". Of course, I have a few that are great, and some not so
great- if not bad.

There are many poets among us.

Much love to you all.

Beautiful indeed... are all poets from the south? :)

Damn!

That's why they call it the "DEEP" south, cause we're all deep?

You are good!

Highly impressed.

Please understand that this is not me, but I will relay what is written
in the scriptures:

"A man shalt not lie with another man."

That goes the same as for a woman shalt not lie with another woman.

However... I don't believe "ALL" gay people were born that way... I
think only some of them may have. I also believe that in the 1960s
during the hippy years, then, 1970s, and 1980s, and as time went on,
people CHOSE to be gay- because it a "new thing"... "fashionably gay" or
whatever.

People really have to watch that episode of The Learning Channel or
National Geographic or A&E or one of those channels. It spoke of when a
child is born and they don't have the reproductive organs of a male (or
a female) and the parents don't know what to do, so the parents have to
make a decision as to what the child should be- so that they grow up to
have a normal life. I forget the term... but, it's out there- and I
forget it.

So, with that said- I know what the scriptures say- and it is true, but-
I also believe that God will forgive us all in no matter what we do, but
we are not the ones that "choose" what we want. There was only 1
perfect one, and it's not mankind.

Gays in sports, military, workplace, etc.- should be left alone. I do
have friends that are gay or bi-sexual. The problem I see is that
people want to have "gay rights" or a "gay parade". F**k that! I, as a
heterosexual, don't go around having a "Heterosexual parade". This is
like the interpretation of what one believes.

If African-Americans have a parade about their hardship and their
struggles and stay away from the "black power" thing, it would be
acceptable. It's like if "whites" have a parade and they are only
promoting "caucasian marriages"... that would be acceptable. However,
when you get these whites that start having "white power" and they are
against others... THAT is when the parade or their cause could go very
wrong.

I love what Clinton said... a "Don't ask, don't tell" policy. Many of
us don't go around saying we're heterosexual, so- whether one has a
sexuality- they shouldn't go around telling who they are either, unless
asked, or they speak about it in conversation.

PERIOD.

Light as a feather are her words-
she speaks to me with love.
Soft as the wind she whispers…
she prays in silence to God above.

A still, small voice she has-
what mighty words she has spoken since birth.
Beauty is her heart and spirit…
as it is immeasurable by anyone on earth.

She came to me when I submitted my all to God…
when I had completely surrendered and searched no more.
Knowing now she’s God’s gift to me,
she is the one I’ll forever adore.

Even though she is miles away,
we both know we’ll be together soon.
We both give praise and thanks to God always,
as we will eventually sing together our new tune.

Graceful is her walk…
she touched my spirit when she reached out.
God has blessed us both to be together-
that’s what the power of God’s love is about.

An unexpected and unspeakable gift…
she is just that as I’ve prayed for her to come to me for years.
Now, as we start our new life together-
we both know that God has wiped away our tears.

God’s miracle is His gift sent to me…
she’s a true angel sent from above.
We’ll both continue to walk along the narrow way to God
and live happily forever in true love.

At the chiropractic class tonight-
there you were… cleaning the fish tank.
For about twenty minutes, you were out of my sight.
But, finally I met you- my doctor I have to thank.

With your French-manicure-
your fingers moved gently through the rocks.
When I saw you I knew for sure
that you completely knocked me out of my socks.

Having the feeling you were well-rounded-
there were things I did not know.
You were feminine and feared nothing it sounded,
especially when you said you knew ‘tae-kwon-do’.

Afterwards I gave you my business card…
and nervously I was standing there.
You said you taught first aid and CPR;
so, I know your heart knows how to care.

Anyway, until next time… I bid you farewell
and hope to see you real soon.
You lit up my night with your smile- couldn’t you tell?
Someday, in return for you, I will lasso the moon.

There you stood my sweet neighbor
in the elevator, you held the door open for me.
“Thank you”, I had to say
and to introduce myself for you to see.

See how polite I was- like a gentleman?
At least I thought I was; I sure hope so.
With this poem I hope you understand-
that sometimes neighbors have friendships that can grow.

Grow inside- as that is what life can be about;
so, be very careful as to what you always do.
Sometimes people in life take the wrong route
and sometimes friendly neighbors can be closer to you.

You spoke to me with your gentle voice-
I listened, but also noticed the dimple in your chin.
It was so cute and sexy- I had to rejoice
as you had already put my head in a spin.

Spin my heart and my thoughts, you make me lie awake…
and I cannot stop thinking about you.
I wonder if your heart is for someone else to take-
so, I shouldn’t worry… at least I’m being true.

True is what I am, as I have always been.
So, why stop now? I will say this:
I hold my breath and cross my fingers in hopes to see you now and then-
and wish someday your soft lips I will kiss.

Kiss me good-bye- if your heart is already taken…
as I will then understand you already have romance.
I will continue with everyday life, but please don’t be mistaken
that I mean no harm and I hope you’ll give me a chance.

Chance life, friends, careers and all of the above;
but be careful on how you are adored.
What I offer to you is friendship and love-
so, if you desire to be with me- I’m in B-604.

When it rain, look up at the clouds.
While they are moving, souls come to realize
that the angels are dancing in heaven
and their sweat drenches the earth- raining into all eyes.

When it rains, think of all the tears
crying out for those who are scared and cannot weep.
Hearts are filled with emotions of overwhelming joy-
the mind is racing and doesn’t sleep.

When it rains, think of all the dryness
running upward towards the dark blue sky.
We are lifted and carried off in the distance…
into a journey of the third eye.

When it rains, think of all the tears of pain
rushing out of everyone’s soul.
Think of those in heaven wishing to live on earth again
and the rain within ourselves- it is weeping as a whole.

But, when the sun shines bright above the hurt,
we all come together to temporarily end our sorrow.
Drifting through the clouds among ourselves
we will all meet at our destined rainbow.

My little Spanish feather...
Why are you still single?
I write to you to make your heart beat fast
and to make you feel that tingle.

I hope you write to me on occasion
and I hope to grow closer to you for us.
Your lips must be as soft as a peach...
Kissing them slowly- for me it is a must.

To feel your arms around me
and your legs straddled around my waist
would make me desire you even more
as for all of your love... I long to taste.

My little Spanish feather...
you are so sweet and sincere,
even though you live very close to me-
you are here to lend me your ear.

I long to run my fingers
through your shiny black hair...
hoping that you will know that
I am more than just a teddy bear.

My love runs very deep...
once I am in love;
but to start a friendship first with you-
I will have to thank the one above.

Let us go with the flow
and take one step at a time.
Sooner or later my little Spanish feather,
I hope that you will eternally be mine.
