It just seems as if they do. Why can't they realize that some women's hair just won't ever be long? What's wrong with accepting someone as is?

for me, the hair style doenst matter, what matters is the person they are on the inside.

do what makes you happy...i grow mine long, get bored, chop it off, grow it back..etc....to hell with what someone else thinks!

Nothing wrong with either. Depends on the woman. I must admit I do LOVE long hair on most women, but have met many with short hair that were equally as attractive.

So I think its more on a person to person basis...not even gender bound...can be typed female or male.

umm YEA i def get the same thing.. and the part that really pisses me off is ... mines short cuz i donated it to locks of love for kids with cancer... so i'm sorry i care more about that than having long flowing pretty hair

I haven't really found that to be true. Some men actually prefer SHORT hair.

But maybeif we were collectively more capible of viewing anothers prespective or opion from a perspective of style, personal preference or astetic value rather than GENDER related; maybe just maybe we might be able to see validity in the advice of another. But then again....Opions are often just like behinds, everyone has one!!!!

I do not see why long or short hair would matter. It is what inside of a person that matters. You should not be bothered by those superficial people.

You guys seem all very bitter and I don't really know why.. Why would you want to be with someone who didn't think the way you looked was attractive? Find someone who likes short hair, it has nothing to do with them being bad people, it has to do with them liking long hair on women, its nothing personal and they are entitled to their opinion, if you don't like it either find someone else, put up with their crap, or grow out your hair. I personally think long hair is gorgeous, nothing against people with short hair and its nothing I can help.

depending on the woman or hair style..some times it has the tendency of making them look manly..jmo

if your 5' tall and equally as wide...short curly cropped hair, tends to make one look like a hard boiled egg.

If you are bald on top, and choose to grow your lower hairline fringe long and wear it in a pony tail...it kinda looks like a horses tail...just doesnt work!!!!!!

I've seen many beautiful women with short hair. Granted, long hair looks better on some women, but some women look beautiful with short hair or with a shaved head. Basically, don't feel the need to conform to what someone else has to say about your hair. All that matters is that your style is one that suits you and with which you are comfortable.

Im 1of them,2be honest. i just prefer long here n if its blonde thats even better. thats not 2say i hate any1, cuz ive seen some pretty short hair girls,i just like what i like.

You're absolutely right! But there were years when I'd get so fed up with the crap about "why don't you grow your hair out?" and it made me wonder why men can't understand that not every woman's hair grows astronomically long. My hair is curly/wavy and irritates me to the point where I've wanted to shave my head bald. It's not like there's much a person can do with something unruly. In all fairness to some of the good men out there....one I dated years ago in MI...said to me that there was nothing wrong with my hair and that some women spent a lot of money to get theirs done the same way and he did have a point.

romantic soul i dont hate women with short hair..hell i dont hate any one so i really cant se where i am an example nor have i ever achieved perfection ..but true you shouldn't be bitter i gave you an opinion .nor did i say that ALL women look bad with short hair rather than they need to evaluate how it would make them look if it were a matter of choice..as a matter of fact i saw a picture of a bald headed woman and thought she was absolutely gorgeous i even thought sinead o'connor was hot with her bald head ..after all beauty is in the eye of the beholder..i was just giving an opinion no one wants to change you im sure you are a wonderful person ..but i still feel i fall short of your idea of a "perfect example"

when painting a house its wise to go with neutral colors so that you appeal to the masses there fore you have a better chance of receiving multiple offers quickly..if you go with different colors that appeal to only a select few you mayt find your property sitting on the market for awhile although there are always the exception ..but if you choose to go with odd colors and your house doesnt sell than who would listen should one complain..all a metaphor..but you get the meaning...
