My "CAT" Experience
|
|
Normally, you tell this story with passion, and most are sure to believe
it right off hand. It's pretty good: I was driving home the other night when it was raining and it was dark out. I ran over a cat. It was sort of calico... a little orange, white, and I guess now- a little pink. I pulled over and was about to drive off and a cop that was watching the traffic for speeders pulled up behind me and said that I had to pick up the dead cat and find the owner of it and return it to the owner. He had his side light on- all shining on me, and had that "macho-attitude" going on. It was pouring down rain- like elephants and giraffes, and I had to look into my trunk for some cardboard or something that I can put the dead cat on. I did find a piece of cardboard, lifted the cat up and placed it on the cardboard and started with the first house across the street- since the officer was pointing his light to the house- asking me to check there first. I went to the first house and knocked on the door. A little girl about 9 came to the door and I explained to her what I did. She quickly turned around and said, "Mommy, mommy- I think Sylvester is dead." The mom came to the door, looked briefly and knew it wasn't the cat. She said angrily, "Why are you going around scaring little girls like that?" Then, she slammed the door in my face. The officer was watching me the whole time. He pointed his light to the next house and I had the cardboad with the dead cat in my left hand and my umbrella in my right hand. I went to the second house. A huge biker guy came to the door. I mean- this guy had to be the jolly-redneck biker guy from South Dakota or something. He was about 6'10" and 350 lbs. I told him I ran over the a cat and I was trying to find the owner so I can return the dead cat for a proper burial. He said, "Ah man... get that **** away from me man. I don't own a damn cat." I was really ready to give up at that point. I then went to the third house, because of the officer's stalking attitude for me to find the proper owner. When I knocked on the door, a little elderly lady with a cane in her hand came to the screen door. I said, "Ma'am, I ran over a cat and I'm trying to find the owner." She said, "That's Jingles. That cat was the last thing that I had to remind me of my husband. He passed away a month ago. All of my relatives- well, his relatives, came and picked up his belongings and I had nothing except for that cat to remember him by." I said, "Ma'am, I'm so sorry. Let me offer my deepest condolences to you." I put down my umbrella and pulled out my wallet with my right hand- placing the wallet on the cardboard next to the dead cat. I reached in the wallet and pulled out $20. I handed it out to her, looked back at the cop because she wasn't taking the money. She opened up the screen door, snatched the $20 out of my hand and then slammed the door in my face. I looked back at the cop, here I am- all wet, tired from a long day's work, I had just ran over a cat, I even had the cat on the cardboard and didn't know what to do with it, and I was out $20. I eventually laid the cat down and went back to my car. I told the officer, as he watched anyway. Another day went by and the police wanted me to fill out some paperwork about what had happened. I went into the police station and the officer said that they had to arrest the elderly lady. I asked, "You had to arrest her? On what charges- if you don't mind me asking?" The officer said, "It's illegal to sell ***** in the state of Washington." |

EMOTION Party :)
|
|
Greetings!
Well, I've always been busy having at least 2 jobs at once, if not more. In my extra time (evenings and weekends)- I threw Electronic music events as a promoter... doing solo projects and collaborated with other promoters for events. THAT part the above is true! :) I threw a party called "The Emotions Party" once. I asked people to dress up for the party with whatever emotion they thought of for the night. One girl came all dressed up in yellow. She was "Friendship". Another girl came dressed up in green. She was "Envy". A guy showed up and he was all in blue. Of course, he as "Sad". Another guy came and he was in red. He was definitely "Mad". One dude showed up in grey. He was "Moody". I thought I might surprise everyone by throwing them for a loop. So, I decided to do something different: I attached a HUGE-ASS pear to the front of my crotch. What was I? "****ing Dispair" |

The Sprinkle of Dust

The sprinkle of dust
that was cast over us brought us closer together as one. God knew it was our time to meet- so, he allowed us to reach our peak and the love we have between us, He knew would eventually come. What is that magic in your eyes I see? Is it the reflection of our love that is meant to be? Perhaps our rainbow is finally here at last. Everything is very genuine about our love, as it was even blessed by the one above, and we know that all our tears of sadness are now in the past. The sprinkle of dust has lifted- and we see our love as being very gifted. Our sight is very clear as we always long for each other. Our happiness is expressed everyday through our smiles and what we say... and our lives will forever be filled with loving one another. Marcas B. Sterling 2003 |

If you love our nation prevent its condemnation:
Abide by the changed constitution and prohibit all types of pollution. Decrease the immigration and stop the hungry from starvation. Prevent our country's inflation and imprison the actors of violation. Now, how much do you love our nation? Marcas B. Sterling 1991 |

Oh time! Thou art limited.
When will time's clock end? Will peace and war be ready? Or, will the people begin to mend? Souls are patiently waiting to choose a path to follow. While some hearts will be filled with love, others will cry out with sorrow. Marcas B. Sterling 1983 |

Tall trees stand united...
as the sun peaks through to shine. A passing wind from a nearby storm makes them sway, without bending. The silence beneath them is the only silence on earth. Enjoying the serenity of the redwood trees, it is never-ending. Marcas B. Sterling 1988 |

How Much I Love You

I love you more than all the wind that blows
I love you more than all the grass that grows... I love you more than all the sand between our toes. I love you more than all the planets, galaxies and stars... I love you more even when we are apart. How much I love you, no one will ever know. Marcas B. Sterling 2003 |

Cultured Embrace
My sweet, gentle darling- you are to me my last hope, my dream come true and God's gift of reality. Our eyes are alike, we see deep in the heart. Our love is so strong, never to be torn apart. The passion we feel for each other we also see. Our arms are wide open for a nurturing embrace and your soft lips long to kiss my face. With you in my life, my world is upside down. I get goose bumps for no reason and I no longer frown. My love for you is greater than the stars in space. Your Spanish descent creates the romance in you. Or, perhaps you were born with it like me- as our hearts are very true. I will always tell you how I feel and always let you know that I am for real. Our love will last through our aging years and always feel brand new. Moment by moment, day by day- we continue to grow closer together in love... as we both already know. I attempt to learn your Spanish words- you know I try. With a little help from you, I know I will get by. The Spanish words I will forever say to you are "Te amo muchisimo." Marcas B. Sterling 2003 |

Spanish Desire
Bright eyes with dark pupils, Looking nowhere else except into my eyes. You have waited this long to be loved for real- and loving you the right way is what I am doing. Shiny, tan skin- how soft it is- Longing to be caressed by my masculine hands. Your skin hides nothing, along with your soft hair that flows gently on your beautiful arms. Little feet and tiny toes... where have you walked before? Other loves may have been in your life... thank you for walking one last time toward me for love. Soft dark hair that shines in the sun, wishing that my fingers would run through it; waiting to be slightly pulled or opened widely as our love is passionately embraced. My Spanish flower, the body scent you have- I know it is a breath of fresh air. My nose longs to smell your aroma from all over you and within you. Teeth of white, lips like a peach... your mouth is precious; it awaits my deep, sensual kisses from my lips. Your cheeks will crinkle and blush when I lick the dimple in your chin. Mind of wit and heart that is strong... both smart and focused; loving you madly is easy for me- and your spirit knows that we will bond forever more. Marcas B. Sterling 2003 |

Just Say Hi (signature poem)

Just Say Hi
Many are us are on the prowl, hoping that our true love is out there. Some are more serious than others when looking for a mate, others play games and don't seem to care. Words are sometimes meaningless, especially when people forget to read. Sure we can all interact with one another, but will that satisfy our need? Finally, a website was created where people can browse profiles and just say 'hi'. Even if people are involved- they can obtain new friends with a simple try. Just Say Hi seems very simple, and some make it difficult to do. Sure there are different criterias for each profile, and there are some profiles that are really true. In an effort to reach out to the world- Just Say Hi is bringing people closer together. Whether it is friends or romance one is looking for, there are people from many lands- and we all have different weather. It could be raining in Florida and sunny in Guam, but no distance is too great between the miles. Gaining true internet friends and lovers- causes very happy users and a lot of smiles. No matter what one's situation is- they could be widowed, divorced, involved or single. But thanks to Just Say Hi being a free service, isn't it cool that we all get to mingle? A simple 'hi' or 'hello' is not that hard to say- especially if one reads a profile that is appealing. Some have had a lucky life of happiness, while others are hoping a new love or friendship would be healing. Honesty is the key to everything in life- whether one is straight, gay or bi. So, people need to relax, browse and make friends as a start- and thank the creaters of Just Say Hi. Marcas B. Sterling March 4, 2006 |

When One Is Ready
When one is ready to die, they might have a look in their eye as if life was not meant for them. After living through the good and bad, with some joy- but, most of life sad, their future seems quite dim. Religious people may speak always- “that God gave you life, you can’t take it away” and, that “we all have a purpose here on earth.” But, since our purpose is complete, our destiny- we will meet, as each of us are destined since birth. When all the many goals one has achieved equal to the broken hearts one has received, you no longer have control on where you life goes. Sure we guide ourselves for awhile... and then, with people’s help- we no longer smile, if or when we guide ourselves again, no one knows. We grow weary of people around us, and life has no meaning and death is a must- as life is just a game that God and Satan play. We know for a fact that life is a bore, and we’re only a ‘rope’ in a tug-of-war; now, it’s time to play the game our way. Life’s a bore because we’re not amused. We’re tossed around and mentally abused. Even a sane person can take their own life! Once we were cared for with real love, watched over and supported by the one above. Now, we no longer try to change the world of strife. Without the world’s anger, life would be calm. But, remember- we're all in God’s palm. Some who do take their life are angels amongst the dead. For all the worldly no longer live when they have no more love to give, and they worship the power beneath the earth instead. All we’ve wanted in life is to be loved each day, to have friends that would be there for us always, and to be married with children that we could mold. A house with a white-picket fence, enjoying our lives without being tense, and to rock our grandchildren in the rocker when we’re old. When one is ready to die, they’ll go the way they want to leave. When our coffin is picked out, our bills paid, we believe... that making amends with people is all that’s left to do. Since not being pleased as much since birth, it’ll be time to leave this lonely earth- explaining that we don’t want to hurt all of you. So, remember the songs I sang with pride, and all the love I had inside; and the romance I always wished for- for my heart. Remember the mountains that I climbed, all the poems (and the ones that didn’t rhyme), and the times- we now will be apart. At last, as I leave- do not shed a tear, for you were not close to me when I was here, and you will go on to live another day. I’ll miss all the ones I love, and hate to disappoint the one above; but, like the wind... I’m destined to pass away. - Marcas B. Sterling February 18, 1992 |

Take Away

Take Away
Hands are made for drumming- they can beat to every tune. Eyes are meant to see the truth and to watch the stars and moon. Sometimes the eyes are filled with tears due to the words someone wrote or said. While one can listen with their ears- or, listen to their intentions instead. Since the tongue and mouth are for speaking... they can feed the body for nutrition. So, since the ears are for listening, this depends on their condition. Leg are made to walk and run and even sometimes dance. The nose is made to smell the flowers that can somtimes put you in a trance. But, when you pleasure yourself... take away the hands. When the music is too seductive... take away the legs so there is no dance. When something is said that offends you and you want to plug your ears... take them away as well, and shut one's mouth to prevent the fears. Take away thy tongue... so it will shout and curse no more. Take away the nose which smells the misleading beauty of a seducing whore. What is now left is in the mind, as well as the body, spirit and soul. There's really nothing left to take away... since that which was taken had made you whole. Marcas B. Sterling March 6, 2006 |

The Two Of Us and More

The Two of Us and More
A few miles away and living in a city- lives a woman who was God-sent and who I find to be extremely pretty. At young age, but very mature- she stands a little under five foot seven. She’s lucky to have the life she has, and I just know she came from heaven. Now, her luck is due to her and cautiously she opens her heart. She makes me quiver in a good way, and friendship is what we had to start. A few moments with her has turned my world upside down. Hearing her voice when I call her makes my sadness drown. There’s so much I want to tell her and so much I want to do. Hopefully she’ll put her trust in me and know that I am being very true. If I could erase all her pain- I would and replace it with love. We will continue taking this chance- and we will thank the Lord above. She’s a wonderful young woman and she has a very soft heart. I long for us to be together and never again to be apart. After searching my whole life, I stopped searching and she was there all along. However, timing has been an issue- so, hopefully we both won't wait very long. Love is right here for her as I wait with open arms. Maybe luck is in her life now… as this Irishman is full of charms. Now that we’re together, I hope someday she’ll be my wife. I will always be blessed to be with her and will always cherish her in my life. We will have a family of our own and all of us will live happily ever after. God will be with us through the good and bad, and our lives will be filled with love and laughter. Marcas B. Sterling October 15, 2005 |

What Carries Us
Life has carried each one of us through all the minutes of each day; through the days of our years. Tears run down even stronger today like rivers flow down moutains; they flood into our praying hands. Dance we do- our bodies are torn; muscles are stretched and we stay in tune- while our limbs are bruised and broken. Spoken are the words that stabs our hearts... whispers are the words of forgiveness; singing are songs when our voice makes sense. Audience is there in our own heads; the people stand and clap with approval. The emotion we feel God only knows. Marcas B. Sterling June 7, 2005 |

Even though you are far away your breath warms me night and day. I'm very grateful that you love me so, and pray that you'll never let me go. You make my tears turn to joy... a lifetime with you is what we can enjoy. I love you so much and I always will, and since God sent you- you both will help me heal. Marcas B. Sterling Jan. 2, 2006 |

Heart of sadness, heart of gold- apart from which we've all been told. Reaching to many to touch their lives- teaching us plenty- to obtain no strife. Ease your mind and make a new friend. In Front of You
Your eyes see gold- expecting the best. All eyes that drip with tears stand out among the rest. Your emotions run deep and cause your eyes to turn blue. As you begin to weep- I'll be there to hold you. I am not a jack-of-trades, a prince, nor king... but, only a man who knows how to love you and happily make your heart sing. As your last tears- they now will fade away. For this everlasting love will forever be here to stay. Marcas B. Sterling 1991 |
