Would you encourage your partner to spend money to improve their appearance if it cost say $700 a month? For arguments sake, say you could easily spare that much.

nah, if I didn't like they way she was, we wouldn't be together in the first place I'd never try to change someone i was just thinking that- why would i be with someone i'd want to change??

No I wouldn't because if I cared about someone, there would be no need for them to improve their appearance. I would want them to stay the way they are!

That IS superficial....... and if someone thought I needed $700 maintenance a month to be acceptable to them..... who needs them? They are focused on all the wrong things and are missing my other wonderful qualities!
