Did you get to fish in the bayous or out in the ocean? Did you use a boat or fish on the shore?

While in La. I fish on shore. In Ar. I have a small fishing boat. I love the water! I have not been out yet this year. I usually fish, Conway golden creek and Willow beach.

Went by Harp's and picked up a bag of potatoes and a couple loaves of bread. Then went over to mom's to check up on her. She gave me a bowl of brown beans and some cornpone. I guess that is what you call it. It is cornbread that is shaped like ears of corn. Saw my brother-in-law and he said he has been meaning to come over to see me but he has been busy. He has been wanting to fix my sister's car but it has been cold. The rain has knocked him out of mowing. I am sure when the rain gets done he will have plenty of work to catch up on. He is going to Harrison to get a tiller. I was telling him that I would like some tilling done. He said that he planned on it. I am off tonight unless they call me in. Cell phone has really paid for itself as it lets me know when I can work overtime. I had a good time putting a shelf in the bathroom. I now have more space to put things. I was glad to get the title to the van back in my name. Got some potatoes baking. i know someone saling a tiller for $20 just outside of Berryville.he had 2 for sale and my uncle baught 1,i'm pretty sure he still has the other one |

That is a good price on a good tiller. I will playing catch up on the bills. Buying the van and parts knocked me out of me paying on time like I was. The only thing I will be late on is my cell phone though. Mom told me that if I paid my bills when they came in that I would have to make a budget. I was going by that until last pay check. Come on Thursday. I get paid Thursday. I haven't even broke into the case of Ramen noodles, yet. Did a bunch of dishes up and have some soaking. Got a bunch of clothes washed and dried but just have to put them into drawers, yet. If I am not careful I am going to collect too many yets.
 Had last night off and tonight so far I am scheduled off. Down to smoking roll your owns. Nice to see the sun coming out here.

Good midnight. Jeff and me got the transaxles installed. Jeff told me that he thought the unibody was messed up but just didn't take the emergency brake off. So that is another 70 bucks to get the cv joints replaced. I will be able to take the cv joints back to the parts store. I know they have been worried about the cores since the core charge was 75 dollars that they bypassed so I could get the cv joints. When we pulled the hubs off it was real apparent that the hub bearings were in bad shape, too. On the good side the lower arm supports were in good shape and so were the tie rod ends. Jeff told me he would charge me to replace the back shocks. The rotors were in good shape and the disc brake pads looked good. Sure was cold doing it in my friend's shop. The 21 MM socket I brough over had a short life expectancy.
Will have to put more transmission fluid in tomorrow because when we pulled the passenger side transaxle out the fluid came out. Jeff said he had more in the shop to refill it with. My sister made us some friend chicken and we had some homemade soup.

it wasn't too bad here today.it was warm enough that i went for a walk for a couple of hours down to the low water bridge below our house.it sure is cold tonight though,i think it's supposed to be in the 20's tonight?

Not sure. It sure got cold though. I am glad I cleaned off the igniter in the propane heater. The flame came on with no problem this morning. My brother-in-law and brother are doing pretty good in the mowing work. My brother was able to get rid of a V10 Chevy and get a better job on a smaller Chevy with a 6 cylinder. I was surprised I could have my brother-in-law sober enough to finish the job. Can't wait to get the wheel bearings done and the back shocks done. Then I think I am going to wait on getting the gas guage working right although I will check on getting the passenger side mirror fixed and check on how much it will cost to get fuel guage working right. I am pretty sure it is the float valve stuck in the gas tank. I am glad the weather was good enough for you to be able to take a walk. Walking is good exercise and I like to walk around in the country.

Well it was my turn to take a walk. My brother-in-law had to go to Harrison on a job so I had to drop him off at my mom's house then walk to the shop 2 miles away to drive my car home sine we were driving the van earlier. My little dog liked the walk and the drive back. |

Yeah, atleast it wasn't raining and the sun was out. It was a good cardiovascular workout.
