Hi! ya'll, OKC here. What a day!

Got most of the back bedroom painted except the top edge. Bought some cheap masking tape and that is exactly what I got. Because it wouldn't stick to the stucco ceiling. I am going to get some real tape. Found that jamming to rock with the music blasting helps me to focus on the job at hand. Beautiful morning here in the Ozarks. Fixing to head to the hardware store to get some good tape so I can finish painting. I don't want to quit this close to being done with it. I want to get the furniture I had to move back but think I will rearrange stuff and do some vacuuming while I am at it. I am covering up an old window that isn't a window any more because the side porch was changed out to make an extra bedroom. I had fun beating the old window frame with a hammer. I didn't realize I had that much agression stored up. It was nice letting my ogre side out for a while. My feminine side was impressed.

Good morning, Cleo. I went to the hardware store and bought some expensive painting tape. The hardware person said that painting tape was better. I get home and use the painting tape and it doesn't stick, either. So I am being real careful with the little brush. I have discovered that I have a fear of shopping. The good book says that a fool and his money is soon parted. I found this out because I only went in there for a roll of tape. Now I got caulking gun with two tubes of caulk, a handsaw and a triangle square. I hate stucco.

Why do they call it stucco anyways? Is it because nothing sticks to it?

I guess so!
