Yup. 250 this last paycheck and the 250 next paycheck. It runs pretty good. I am glad I have the other vehicle till I get the front suspension fixed. I will get some better tires for it and do an oil change. It needs some tender loving care and it is a lot easier for me to get in and out of since I am a tall person. It gives me another reason to work overtime and I think it will be a good hobby for me. I will have the security of a second vehicle and besides that I like the older type vehicles. I am still glad I got it.

Thats true, Jt and they are easier to work on. The lady I bought the van asked me how I liked the van and I told about what I found wrong with the front suspension. She said she didn't know it had that wrong with it. I told her that I still am glad I bought the van from her and that she let me get it on payments. A lot of people won't trust you to let work out a deal like that. It was a little cool this morning.

Good afternoon, Cleo.

She lives out towards Lakeview, Jt. I will ask if she wants to sell another vehicle. I was glad to get rid of the glider chair and extra end table. My friend who gave the dog picked it up, yesterday and brought her daughter who was glad to see the dog. The daughter held my dog so I could get a tick off the dog. This friend has a disabled husband, too and is the sole bread winner.

I sure will, Jt. Just off of work. I have a little Spitz. My new 30 female aide that I have been training has been like most of the aides I have trained. One of the things I have to do is calm them down so they don't lose their cool when the day nurse comes on shift. Was funny when the nurse made us work over instead of ask us. The aide couldn't believe I said you're welcome after the nurse said thank you to us.laugh I asked the new aide if she wanted to change her mind and work dayshift. She just laughed at me.laugh

I remember when an axle was a long cylindrical device that went from wheel to the other on a vehicle. Not only that but you had vehicles that didn't split on the years. Now you have to check the door panel for the exact date of manufacturer to get the right parts. So far I have been able to change the flasher unit, the battery cable ends and the cigarette lighter without having to take it to the shop.laugh Just had to order the axle ends and cv joints. Motor works on the passenger side for window but the window is popped out of track. Sounds like a box of Rice Crispies going down the road with all the snap, crackle and pop.laugh But atleast I am not getting bounced to death since the new struts are installed. laugh I hope everyone is having a good day.

Hi, fellow Arkies. Was talking to my aunt and cousin who live across the street while they were checking their mail. My aunt loves her van, too. No pranks so far, Cleo.

I have had a real love-hate with where I live. But I have found the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence. I figure I might as well make the best of it where I am. Pulling up stakes isn't that much fun, either. Travelling I like but moving is another story. I certainly hate packing.

Found what I hear is a pretty good auto garage in Harriet. My friend was telling me they might be cheaper on price and they try to move the vehicles through faster. She was telling me the big garages have a set time rate per job and even if they get done quicker than the alotted time that is what they charge. I guess they just about have to pay for the overhead and more mechanics. She was telling me that I have took her and her old lady home on more than one occasion that they would go out there with me so I could drop my van off to be fixed. They both have that day off so it wouldn't be a problem. I am really developing a strong friendship with both of them. Sometimes it really seems strange the amount of friends that I am making because of my job. It is almost like that song, "Cheers". That is another reason I wouldn't want to move because I would lose all my friends. It has really took some years to get to this point and I wouldn't want to rock the boat now.

While I was taking my brother-in-law to Harrison today to get a trailer hitch ball for my brother my brother-in-law said he could put the axles and cv joints in for me. Noticed more road construction on the Hwy 62 cut-off by Bear Creek Springs. Hwy 65 is sure going through some changes that way. That road sign there with the Eureka Springs exit can put a person on the wrong road if they aren't paying attention. Sure would hate to run out of gas in Bear Creek Springs. The gas stations have closed down in that area.
