Worked 14 hours, yesterday. My little dog is in heat and I have to watch letting her outside. She is a little dog and there is this big dog that has came from down the road. Actually there have been three male dogs that have frequented my property. My cousin came out with a rifle to keep the male dogs off his property. I tried putting her out in the chicken house but she got out of there. She was spending some time under the house. we had 3 cats that had kittens about 2-3 weeks ago and one of the mama cats is already in heat again |

Oh man that sucks but maybe you will get a good mouser out of the deal. Used to have a cat that would just play with the mice until the poor mouse just collapsed and died. I guess some cats just like to play with their food.

Good morning. It sure is cold. Especially after handling cold mechanic tools. I wiped off the grease on the sockets until I could read the sizes. Found that the bottom steering knuckle bolts were metric 21. Talked to my friend, Randy who helped me fix my dryer and helped to translate the Chilton book. Found out the shorter cv joint axle goes to the driver's side wheel to the transmission and the longer cv joint axle goes to the passenger side. I guess I still thinking it was two axles both going parallel. When he called them transmission axles I figured out why the book calls them transaxles. That little box between the axles is the transmission. I guess I was still thinking rear wheel drive when I should have been thinking front wheel drive. Even 86 is modern to me. I was used to working on 60's and 70's stuff. Randy took a lot of the mystery out. One end is spline that fits into the transmission and one end is threaded where the wheel hub has the tires wheel bolted on. Glad I cleaned the propane heater since it made the igniter on the stove work right. Still too freaking too cold for me to work on the van now though. Heard it snowed in Missouri. Warm in the house now. Hope everyone stays warm.

Went by Harp's and picked up a bag of potatoes and a couple loaves of bread. Then went over to mom's to check up on her. She gave me a bowl of brown beans and some cornpone. I guess that is what you call it. It is cornbread that is shaped like ears of corn. Saw my brother-in-law and he said he has been meaning to come over to see me but he has been busy. He has been wanting to fix my sister's car but it has been cold. The rain has knocked him out of mowing. I am sure when the rain gets done he will have plenty of work to catch up on. He is going to Harrison to get a tiller. I was telling him that I would like some tilling done. He said that he planned on it. I am off tonight unless they call me in. Cell phone has really paid for itself as it lets me know when I can work overtime. I had a good time putting a shelf in the bathroom. I now have more space to put things. I was glad to get the title to the van back in my name. Got some potatoes baking.

I hope everyone's week end was wonderful! I came to Little Rock this weekend and I had really good time! I fished all week here in Louisiana, that was great too!

Having a good weekend, Cleo. I hit the wrong switch on my radio while adjusting it and it went from FM to AM. Found a wonderful 24/7 gospel station put out by Living Waters Broadcasting.

Wow sounds wonderful! I made the six hour trip back to Louisiana today and I enjoyed listening to the radio stations since my cd player broke down. I just am so afraid to find out how much it will cost to fix the dang thing!

Sounds like you had good reception the whole way. I hope you are able to get it fixed at a low price.

What kind of fish did you catch and did you land any big ones? Did you fry any of them up?
|

|

Oh heck yeah! I caught several catfish, one weighted about 2 1/2 lbs and two stripers!
