I picked my son up at the airport this morning. He is home safe and sound with his family!!  A simple thank you just doesn't seem to say enough to our men and women fighting for our freedom. Mr.D was admitted to the hospital today...he has to stay there for 3 days..in order to get in a rehab facility to take care of him.Due to the fall and me being alone..it is beyond me being able to fully care for him.So he could be there for 3 weeks.. and I will be with him for security and moral support...it's so sad.. I am tired.My body hurts from manuvering him from place to place..even with the training I have.. I can't wait to go home June 6 to be with Brad...and hope Brett can make it home for a weekend...so far I can't reach him.Think he is in the field in training..sigh.. otherwise I am fine..just very tired... Thank you Repunzel...I u.. |

I know the fatigue and pain you are experiencing I was a caregiver for many years & suffered many injuries due to transfer of stroke, alzheimer's & multiple sclerosis victims... that put me out on full long term disability... These repetitive strain injuries that we suffer cause so much pain, discomfort, nerve damage & a myriad of other health issues.... You are so tiny, too.... and you are so kind and very generous . but, this work is too hard for you to do...Please !!!  You are doing work that many men wouldn't even do...  please cut yourself some slack !!! i just hate to see you or anyone i care for hurting so bad...  I have such injuries, the doctor wanted to put me on a maintenence program of morphine...  and i flat out refuse to become a zombie... but, i hurt all the time... and it is tough to deal with and very difficult for my Family to be around me sometimes, when i hurt so bad, so often...... My right arm goes numb on me all the time ...& other injuries..too sooo, i just wanted to tell you a little bit of what is going on with me, not so much to complain or cry the blues, but to show you of a path that you don't want to take so maybe you can prevent yourself some of the pain and suffering i go through ... if not for you, then please do it for the sake of your family... I know you care about Mr. D, you are very loving and faithful, but Honey... you are only one small lightweight little lady ... Someone else needs to step in now... and take over before you collapse  |

JUST KIDDING. Honest. I thank all our soldiers for their time, sacrifice, and dedication. While we are in difference of opinion as to what we have our soldiers do in terms of these "wars", I will never look down on them for the hard job they have. Much love and support to our Armed forces.
