Thanks Stormy! I was just reading Crystal's thread about Luna's energy being energetic, spontaneous, and impulsive... That's exactly what happened with my hair. I went in for just a haircut. After she shampooed my hair and got ready to cut it, I mentioned to her that I was considering getting my hair colored strawberry blonde. She said she had time, so I said, "Let's do it".. Hahaha! Fortunately, I didn't regret it in the morning. I love it!

And I don't regret kissing the alligator yesterday... Though it would have been nice if he turned into a prince like the frogs do.

But you are already going to Florida? So no staying in Hot Springs for a few days and meeting this guy?

We're not meeting in Hot Springs, we're meeting in Destin, Florida. So yes, I'm on my way to Florida, hahaha.

I'm in Gulfport, Mississippi right now. Got here around 7pm. I'll be heading to Destin tomorrow, and we meet Thursday morning.

Thanks Dee, I hope you are as well.

It's been a long, busy, and fun two weeks... but like all vacations and road trips, they must come to an end.

But... Not before I spend time relaxing and winding down, on the beach!

I arrived at my niece's, near Tampa, yesterday. I'll be leaving here tomorrow to spend three nights on Treasure Island Beach. I found a cute little cottage resort that has it's own private beach, and a kitchen so I'll be able to do my own cooking. The grocery store is within walking distance, so no need to get back in the car if I need something from the store. Just enjoying the beach, and lounging by the pool... A perfect way to wind down after from a long trip.

It's great to see my niece again. I haven't seen her in two years, and it's been four years since I've seen my great niece and great nephews... Holy cow, how they've grown.

I have pictures to share, I will post them on Tuesday. The next two days will be pretty busy with family, and getting settled into my little haven on the beach.

I didn't realize how much I missed my family until I was welcomed with lots of hugs... Apparently, they missed me as well!

Yes, it will be nice to wind down. Yesterday, before checking out of my motel room, I had a moment of feeling rushed and not quite ready to end my trip. I was exhausted, and the thought of getting back to the Keys and starting work right away was depressing, lol. So I checked out places on the beach, hoping to find an affordable quiet place... and yippee, I found one! Thank goodness it's off season time right now, otherwise there's no way I could afford it.
