Do you still keep in Touch with your Childhood Friends??

Some. But I was bought up in a hick town and most remain there with the same mindsets I grew up with. I cant relate to them.

I still remember my childhood Friend we had a Big Fight and didn't talk for 12 long years , Ego ! He then messaged me on FB and said Sorry , Now we are great Friends , He is Now In Canada with his Family .

Nice. My bestie and I were really creative together. We wrote plays and performed them for the school. Won the speech competitons and we're the school debating team.
Now she is an accountant and not creative at all. She found me on FB too.

I still keep in touch with my childhood friend. We’ve known each other for over 50 yrs. She will always be in my life because she knows too much about me I also have another friend who I’ve known for over 40 yrs and we also stay in touch with each other.

Lol. Yeah, I have a friend I have known since I was 7 and she was 8. I keep her away because she knows too much about me.

Nothing but houses as far as you could see, dotted by
schools and stores. You grew up knowing tons of kids.

I have 1 on FB but we never really communicate and aren't in touch beyond that either. Me and the friends I had have grown apart.
I've moved house some 17 times, even left the country at some point. And I noticed when I divorced things changed and I again grew apart from the friends I had then.

Divorce changes someone, gives you a second wind, a new life, a boost. I had a reunion of elementary school a few years after my divorce.
I was young, sexy, dating, going out and dancing. Living.
They all looked so... old. Even the ones that once were the belles of the class.
It was good to see them but the only one I had something in common with was a woman who was also divorced. And same as me, alive & kicking, dating, going out, enjoying life.

Nope moved around too much growing up due to my dad was a single parent & cross country truck driver..

Then moved away when I was in High school and lost contact with those I knew..

I have a few.. 53 years of being friends with two of them, 43 years with another. Two of them I see on a regular basis.

I still have my best friend from age 5. Others there is facebook and talks of get togethers they are rare as life happens.

There are Friends and there are Families , then there are also Friends that become Family..

No, I was a hellion as a kid and once I shed that life I shed all the influences. Most of my 'crew' are either dead or serving prison.

We were a "crew of three rebels. I am the only survivor. One killed himself, the second one died of cancer 5 years ago ...

I lost touch with my friends when I married as my husband was military and we moved around a lot

I lost touch when I moved to go to college .... and it stayed that way ...

I agree you lost Touch but atleast they could have located you . Still there is much time .

I have lost touch with friends I grew up with. I have moved around the country so often nobody knows where I'm at. I do know that some have passed away.

I agree what is written here. But in Simple ,Never ignore the effort of a Friend who tries to keep in touch . Its not all Time someone cares . After all , The language of Friendship is not words but meaning.
