My name is Hjalti and I am a primitivist: I would like to become as much like ancestors while focusing on what made them healthy, strong, and happy. I am currently on the carnivore diet and am planning to stay on it for the rest of my life. I exercise every day, and I try to get 10 hours of sleep during the night. I also wear as little clothing as possible in any given situation. Every day I try to be better than I was yesterday. If you can not image yourself doing almost the same thing I'm doing then we can only be friends at most.

Planning to.

So, youre going to eventually stop using all forms of luxury.. electrical, transportation, etc... ?

Going to use spears or clubs to hunt?..
Remember now, some thing's you can't, by law, hunt year round with possibly going to jail, or prison.

Most fish you can year round, but still require a license, or you face high fines or jail..

Just not sure it's really practical or possible in this day and age.

Heck, many wild animals don't even have a place to be wild anymore.

Welcome and good luck. I remember reading somewhere the Eskimos bones, teeth etc were the healthiest, because they only ate fish and seals? I am not sure if it is true, but you are interesting. :grinning: I hope you find your lady.

I was that way UNTIL I got my 1st real job and a car. Then came girls that just wanted my body. Then a house and a nicer car then women that just wanted my money.

I guess in the military you could live in a tent for a yr or more.

True that. I see it every day here.. too many deer, they have no place and they wander into the roads. But no one wants to hurt them.. because they are "cute". Can't explain to some people that we are hurting them this way even more so.

I heard that caveman life was not all it’s cracked up to be.

I find the whole concept interesting.
I'm wondering where you set your limits?
I think having set limits will help when trying to find a mate.
Are those limits flexible or static?

When you make your move to primitive what will you do if you find something which isn't working to your expectations?
Did you think it thru or are you acting on a whim?

Are you prepared for the hazards of child-birth and sickness?
Are you prepared for food poisoning, bacterial infections, the flu?
Is there a plan for flood or drought? Hypothermia? Severe storms?
Will you construct a shelter or live open-range?
Which tools will you use? Will you boil water?
How will you start fires for warmth, cooking, sanitation?

Even people on the prepper sites I frequent do not attempt to go full primitive, not even as a test.
Have you considered the modern human is conditioned to technology?
Yer gunna need to grow thicker skin, a lot more hair all over and change the bacteria in your tummy to digest raw foods.

The concept is interesting but I doubt your resolve. I also doubt you will find any man on a website who would be willing to give up everything just so he could live with you in such conditions.

Still, you could get 'close' to primitive and survive just fine.
You might try a test run by yourself first.
Set a time frame which allows you to keep what you have but venture out and try it.
Take notes, modify your plan and when you have the kinks worked out, find a companion willing to share that life with you.
Just remember when two are involved, your plan may not be best for that situation.
Be prepared to be flexible.
