Can't beat the old tonic wine, but €14 is what I paid in Ireland last year, when it's only £6,30p, in my local shop where I stay. Highway robbers in the off sales in the Republic mate! :joy::joy::joy::thumbsup::champagne:

I've got cousins in Cork and Dublin, that I bring bottles over for. Met up with them last year at the Longitude Festival, in Dublin, last July and at Electric Picnic, in Stradbally, Co. Laois, at the end of last August mate!:beer::sunglasses:drinks

I've got a couple of cash and carry cards though. So I can easily get a full case from there, if you want one? Why have one bottle, when you can have 12?:joy::joy::joy:drinks

Have breakfast at my favorite local deli and then go to the supermarket to do some mask free shopping and smile at everybody. Maybe even flirt a bit... bigsmile

If lockdown ended tomorrow, for the next month I would continue to do the same things I've done for the past three months... continue to go to work, continue social distancing, and continue using universal precautions.

Imo, it would be foolish to believe just because they ended lockdown that we're out of the woods. After a month, if there are no major spikes in new cases, I would make plans to spend a weekend in Maine, whale watching and taking other tour boat rides... towards the end of August.

Nothing much different from now. My life hasn't changed really.
Some thing will become unpleasant when it's over: loads of tourists again, invading our area.
I must say I have thoroughly enjoyed them not being here or much less for a long time!

There's a Lockdown?
When did that start?

I agree, no lockdown here either?
As a fatter of mact, there's been no impact on my lifestyle what-so-ever.
The stimulus check was nice tho...

Can't say I have been in a lock-down, due to I have worked every day and not much has changed in my every day life.. Only thing I have missed at times is going out to eat.. Which now we can... but have yet to go out to eat..

I have yet to wear a mask for we are not made to at work, and I refuse to wear one anywhere else..

Except I have gained my son,his gf and my grand son for the time being..while all this is going on...

Other then that already have a Cruise booked for the end of September as long as they start Cruising I will be on that ship... bigsmile drinker glasses

I haven't spent it yet. I'm thinking of updating the entertainment system. I haven't bought a new TV or receiver since 1993...

The Police are coming round workplaces here in Scotland and checking people are wearing masks and adhering to Social distancing rules and staying at least 2 metres apart. If not they're fining you, the company you work for and sometimes, just shutting you down. Our lockdown rules are stricter than what Englands are though and that's no new cases now in Scotland, for the 3rd day running. So the effects are starting to show. If you try to drive from England to Scotland, also, the Scottish Police are using Automatic Number Plate Recognition, to identify English number plates and turning them back around again. Englands covid19 rate though is rising again!

Could you send a few cops over to Dublin? Most Gardai here seem to have a very relaxed approach noway
