Yahweh tells us he is was and will be. He has always existed. Thier is basically no time with him.He has told us things about the universe that we are just now beginning to grasp. He has no beginning...Blessings...Miles

hummmm let me give you a simple explanation why that is non-sense..you are saying just because the creator created the universe therfore he has no creator ..ok now what if I counter with....the creator's creator could have created the creator so that the creator could created the universe

how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood

Hi funches,

Still at it I see...just had to check on you dear one...It seems like to me the question has surely been answerd hear by Mr. Curious for sure....
That cause (or creator) must itself by nature be eternal and self-existent. In other words the creator is self existent he didn't have a creator. It sounds rational to me.

that Yahweh "always existed" is a claim that can only be confirmed by someone that existed before Yahweh because how else would anyone know that it were so...also that Yahweh "will be" is an assumption since "will be" haven't in a sense arrived yet

hey georgiagirl
well the word "eternal" kind of blew it for you since you yourself would have had to exist before and after etenity to actually know if God was eternal so if that is what you are claiming then it sounds delusional to me

thing is, those two things you provided can be figured out. it is possible to count all the hairs on your head, i'm sure it'd be easy if you shave your head and count what falls off.

Hmmm! So it is words like eternal and infinity that trigger the delusional response from you. huh Is it because you think we are just being deceived since we just believe in a theory, speculation, or assumption? Hmmm! Yea I guess that is it and I can understand that but I still don’t agree.

I know you want irrefutable answers to this question but unfortunately that just isn't possible yet sweetie. Have you ever considered the plethora of different reasons though as to what makes us believe, or have knowledge of a lot of things or does it even matter? You'd probably still think it ludicrous.

Have you ever considered though that unless we actually do something ourselves that a lot of our knowledge or assumptions of it come only from the experiences of others and from what we are taught or told others answered, did, read or experienced… more so than from what we ourselves did or saw being done or experienced ourselves?

Even though we are pretty confident our knowledge is mostly our own and is the facts or the truth? In reality…unless we did it or see it being done do we really know without a shadow of a doubt we aren’t being deceived, controlled or lied to? Not always that is for sure.

So a majority of our knowledge is based on what we have learned through others throughout history right? It is not always based on what we ourselves do or experience. Can we at least concur on that? If we can then is it fair to say that some writers in the New Testament were actually proven, documented, disciples who knew Jesus personally? Yes I think we probably can.

Just like George Washington for example he was dead when we came into this world but I think he truly existed. It is documented and proven by others but I have to just take someone else’s word for it really and rely on what I think or believe to be true in order to accept it.

I know this way of thinking is bizarre but I can’t come up with anything else right now to express my point. I guess you could say that from what I have been taught, read, experienced or believe; I believe the man truly existed…but I really can’t prove it…so that could make me somewhat delusional again I suppose.

But ya’ know that is pretty much why I believe that God is real too and that he has always existed. But there is more…I can feel the Holy Spirit inside of me too. It is kinda’ how you feel when you know you are in love in a way… a good feeling inside.

Love in a way seems somewhat delusional in a sense too but it really does exist. I know sometimes it gets turned off and on with some people but with others it is never ending. Forgive me if I seem to be giving you a lecture. I don’t mean to. I guess I am trying to clarify why I trust that God always existed and was not created by another creator.

If you’re interested in scientific and biblical documentation of this you can google first earth age and there are several sites there that will possibly be interesting to you. I hope you are but if not I still wish you well.

affirmative georgiagirl because neither exist...just like numbers are used to count things in reality the terms eternal and infinity are used to measure supposed reality ...eternal can only exist after existence no longer exist and infinity can only exist once you reach the end ...so to used to terms to explain a creator is delusional

Is it because you think we are just being deceived since we just believe in a theory, speculation, or assumption? Hmmm! Yea I guess that is it and I can understand that but I still don’t agree.

deception only plays a part if one claims the belief as being truth with no proof or no proof beyond faith ...also known as "truth without proof"

I know you want irrefutable answers to this question but unfortunately that just isn't possible yet sweetie.

and that is why it's delusional honey-baby

Have you ever considered the plethora of different reasons though as to what makes us believe, or have knowledge of a lot of things or does it even matter? You'd probably still think it ludicrous.

wow georgiagirl you must be psychic

Have you ever considered though that unless we actually do something ourselves that a lot of our knowledge or assumptions of it come only from the experiences of others and from what we are taught or told others answered, did, read or experienced… more so than from what we ourselves did or saw being done or experienced ourselves?

and that's why people should know better than to make claims as true without proof that it is...it's called spreading rumors

Even though we are pretty confident our knowledge is mostly our own and is the facts or the truth? In reality…unless we did it or see it being done do we really know without a shadow of a doubt we aren’t being deceived, controlled or lied to? Not always that is for sure.

but yet people claim they are sure and have no doubts..imagine that

So a majority of our knowledge is based on what we have learned through others throughout history right? It is not always based on what we ourselves do or experience. Can we at least concur on that? If we can then is it fair to say that some writers in the New Testament were actually proven, documented, disciples who knew Jesus personally? Yes I think we probably can.

there is no dispute that a guy named Jesus existed...whats in disputed is that he was the son of a God

Just like George Washington for example he was dead when we came into this world but I think he truly existed. It is documented and proven by others but I have to just take someone else’s word for it really and rely on what I think or believe to be true in order to accept it.

George Washington never made claims that he was the son of God or the Messiah

I know this way of thinking is bizarre but I can’t come up with anything else right now to express my point. I guess you could say that from what I have been taught, read, experienced or believe; I believe the man truly existed…but I really can’t prove it…so that could make me somewhat delusional again I suppose.

even I know some guys name Jesus ..but I can't say that any of them has been resurrected

But ya’ know that is pretty much why I believe that God is real too and that he has always existed. But there is more…I can feel the Holy Spirit inside of me too. It is kinda’ how you feel when you know you are in love in a way… a good feeling inside.

sounds like a bad case of gas

Love in a way seems somewhat delusional in a sense too but it really does exist. I know sometimes it gets turned off and on with some people but with others it is never ending. trust doesn't exist beyond the mind
