Ford's testimony against Kavanaugh elicits sympathy — and sniping
"Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee evoked a wide range of reactions Thursday afternoon: doubt, support, anger and women telling their own stories of abuse". http://www.yahoo.com/news/fords-testimony-kavanaugh-elicits-sympathy-sniping-185932763.html Congrats to Brett Kavanaugh on getting to be angry "After Dr. Christine Blasey Ford's heart-wrenching and credible testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, pundits wondered whether Brett Kavanaugh would adopt a gentler tone during his own appearance. He did not. Instead, he leaned into being angry". http://www.yahoo.com/news/congrats-brett-kavanaugh-getting-angry-200655084.html If you want to make yourself look even more guilty, this is the way to do it. |

What is outrageous to me is that he is a judge who never answers a question directly with yes or no. He did the same in his confirmation. A judge I would respect would stand on their own merit and would not suggest an investigation into a womans allegation is something that is somehow wrong or a travesty.
the investigation is what SHOULD happen. Both sides if they have nothing to hide, should be PARTICIPATING willingly and gladly and just get it over with. I dont know why he keeps skirting around those questions. Comparing it with Fords direct answers and openness, it feels and sounds like something to hide. |

FBI said there is no federal case and as far as they are concerned the case is closed

Comparing it with Fords direct answers and openness, it feels and sounds like something to hide. And this doesn't help him either. Kavanaugh can't answer direct questions and wants to get angry. Then you have this guy (Lindsey Graham,) that has already shown favoritism towards the accused. That also wants to get angry. The more this goes on the more guilty he looks. Never mind the personal he11 she has been through. Lindsey Graham's anger boils over during Kavanaugh questioning: 'Most unethical sham since I've been in politics' "The anger in Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., had been building steadily throughout Thursday, as Dr. Christine Blasey Ford testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee. When Ford’s questioning ended, Graham vented to reporters about what he saw as a Democratic conspiracy to keep Brett Kavanaugh from the high court. But it wasn’t until Kavanaugh himself was questioned by Democrats on the committee that Graham’s anger really boiled over". http://www.yahoo.com/news/lindsey-grahams-anger-boils-kavanaugh-questioning-unethical-sham-since-ive-politics-211629826.html |

Dem Sen Harris kept asking Kavanaugh if he would ask the White house to ask FBI to conduct a investigation
Kavanaugh said he would do whatever the committee wanted him to do. Democrats Know FBI already said, No investigation will be done. This Hearing was very time consuming and Unnecessary ! IMO Seemed Too Political. |

The guy cant answer a question straight unless its the side of the aisle he is on. For a Judge, thats very scary.
If no harm can be done, why not ask for the investigation? if its known the answer is no, what is the harm of asking anyway? seems flimsy that people said they dont recall what happened to SOMEONE else? so what. why would they. It seems flimsy that friends and acquaintances would say he treated THEM well. so what, that is not proof of him not treating someone else unwell. Seems flimsy to say, after being party of several requests for FBI checks on people in his career, that he would claim FBI investigation is useless. seems flimsy to say a polygraph would be pointless. so what WOULD be enough? Just the word of his friends and associates and the lack of memory of people they hung with in high school? This guy tendency to avoid answers, which I noticed in his confirmations even before this, makes him look very shady. He may or may not have done what is claimed, but he certainly does appear very nervous and unable to give the type of DIRECT answers that most judges demand of others in their courtroom. |

The misguided woman had no evidence. NONE. She couldn't name when, where, what time - nothing.
The burden was on her to prove it -- she FAILED, despite the crocodile tears. The judge has a daily diary documenting his whole summer of 1982. |

Kavanaugh should sue Ford for slander.
She was spacey and didn't understand enough to not be lying. |

Reminds me of Bill Cosby, they didn't care what 'kind' of girl the accusers were, only if he acted outside of the law. Reminds me of Donald Trump, they didnt care what 'kind' of girl the accusers were, or what 'kind' of guy he was, for that matter. It is crazy that in 2018 we still have the double standard which allows certain men to be whores to the point of assaulting females without criticism or question, but which shames and discards females if there is even a slightest chance they enjoy sex. But I dont think most people share that double standard anymore. People are now starting to see men as whores just the same as girls when they behave with no discretion or standards sexually. And what kind of girls were they MS. You know the ones Bill Cosby...raped |

Ford describes assault in unwavering testimony
"WASHINGTON — Above all, she remembers the laughter. In powerful, gripping testimony, Christine Blasey Ford told the Senate Judiciary Committee about the night, 36 years ago, when she alleges Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh attempted to rape her at a house party in suburban Washington, D.C". http://www.yahoo.com/news/ford-describes-assault-unwavering-testimony-193921160.html Kavanaugh’s confirmation odds jump, after he delivers full-throated defense of sexual-assault allegations http://www.yahoo.com/finance/m/1db64ac5-c571-3493-bfe3-97c925777147/kavanaugh%E2%80%99s-confirmation-odds.html |

I dont know what kind of girls Cosby's accusers were, but they had no evidence, they were heard and believed, which was my point to those trying to make this about the character of the accuser.
Kavanaugh cannot sue for slander. His accuser did not publish any accusation. she was Called by Congress to testify what happened to her, and that is what she did, passing a lie detector test, and having verification that exists from YEARS earlier, before nomination of this man, and that she had to PAY to share, instead of being paid for. |

You must have been watching some other meeting. What you're describing, isn't what I heard. Ford sounds like she wasn't sure of what happened. If it was so traumatic, they why can't she remember any of it?
Lindsay Graham was being himself. He does a very novel thing- thinks for himself, draws his own conclusions, and posts HIS views. If he's wronged, he'll say so. If his views isn't how the republicans see it, well, he's allowed to. No, he doesn't follow party lines. If we had just 25% of congress act just like Lindsey Graham, We would have a much different government. And all of the Dems would be screaming bloody murder. |

lol
She has committed both libel(written - printed, letter to DF) and slander( verbal - to many many people) toward Kavanaugh. |

His anger tells me something went on, not clear what but all these clowns stick to the "admit nothing" angle.
Doesn't seem like anything serious happened tho,, a whole lot of nothing imo |

His anger tells me he is disgusted about her lies, and those of others.
His anger tells me he is disgusted with the media propagating lies. His anger tells me he is disgusted with what his family has been put through, with no evidence against him. It's a natural anger when people lie about you. |
