And thinking that it must be really trying on Jason Momoa to play the role as he's 1.93m yet in the series he's constantly hunched and walking bent over.
If he didn't have back problems he's bound to get it from this series. I get tired just looking at it, go figure!

you should give it a try once more ... any movie set in SA is worth it ..
basically he is given a rental that contains the loot of the criminals , and they are trying to get it back , bit he thinks they are after him and he doesn't understand why... thats all I can say !!!

Oh, I think I picked the wrong phrasing, hihi. I did understand it, but I didn't like it very much.
Maybe I'll try again at some point, for now busy watching season 2 of "See" which I waited for a long time for!! It's a truly great series.

William Devane...

Based on a true story, Air Canada flight 174 running out of fuel, for the most part because the ground crew mistook calculation as they had gone from imperial to metric and they didn't understand that.
They thought a pound was 2 kilos (knuckleheads!!) meaning the airplane had less than half its required fuel.

The plane had great difficulty staying in the air, had to divert to Winnipeg.

Anyhow, very very much worth watching!!

Take a look at Hard Rain. Christian Slater and Morgan Freeman. Its about four men robbing an armored truck, during a flood.

The cinematography is something else in that one. They built the set in an old airplane factory, then flooded it. To imitate the flood waters rising, they made the floors in that move.They might have overdid the rain some during the movie. They made it pour in buckets all through the picture.

Yes, a good movie indeed. Have seen it more than once. Like many Morgan Freeman movies it's a good one.
But like you say they did overdo the rain.

Bull a series.
I quite like it so far :) It's about a psychologist named Bull who works to do jury profiling and is real good at it.
It's impressive how they manage to keep it intriguing even though so far he won every case. I do wonder when they are going to make him lose a case.

Bull... great TV series .... seen it fry day 1???

No, I found it online and of course did begin watching with season 1 :)
At the mo gave up on it as I do feel it is going down the drain a bit. And when I got to season 5 from last year they're all wearing facemasks. Congruent with the pandemic, and the season was from 2020, but I watch for my pleasure, not to be reminded of a pandemic. Plus, you can't see their faces. I decided to not watch anymore.

Looking for something new to watch :)

Btw... The Witcher season 2 is out :)

Totally different from what I expected to get. I thought a regular action movie, but far from it!
I quite liked it. I'd say check it out for yourself :)

Seen both before, and they're great! Although the first It movie certainly was good as well.
But if you really want to get the real feel of it (It) you gotta read the book!

The Green Mile
Had never seen it before as the story never appealed to me, not even at the time when I was a big Stephen King fan.

A long movie, 3 hours, and half an hour in nothing had happened yet. I was about to doze off. I skipped to an hour in and finally something happened.
Then it began to get good. They could've kept it at 2 hours long. I did skip another approx. half hour in the middle.
From that 1st hour onwards it got real good, and very emotional too. I have cried a lot.
And what a great actor playing Coffey! One of these roles that I cannot think of any white man playing.

I doubt I'll ever watch it again, some movies are better to watch once and one time alone, but it was worth it.
