Sounds like a good teacher if you ask me, but I believe in exploring all possibilities within our capability and deciding what is right for us when we are ready..
'Sides that, I am a sponge for learning new things... I love to learn... Wierd like that I suppose... |

creative....that's how i bring my son up as well. he needs to use his own brain and not just go by what he is told. i would have a problem with the teacher if they only taught one side of things (there's another thread about that)
i want my child to be well rounded and i think i have brought him up with good morals and values that why should i worry??? i will love him regardless if we agree on things or not. at some point you need to let kids fly |

Agreed... I am attempting to help mine to be able to effectively place value... in general... The hardest part of recognition, is the internal kind... the only kind that truly matters most. I want my children to know who they are and why... that is the best gift that I can possibly give them. The gift of accurate perception. |

feral... New species have indeed evolved in front of our very eyes... new species, mind you... not genus, as far as I know. Your statements claiming that there are is no evidence whatsoever that evolution actually happened flies in the face of some of the most intelligent people in this country and in the world. Why do you suppose that it is taught in the public schools in the U.S., but creationism is not? Because there is proof of one, but not the other. It may be sad... but it is true. Well that is the consensus....but myself personally I think it was brought in to the school systems on a fluke and/or mistake and then as with most school systems once it's there it's alot tougher to get out again. I was even taught the same thing...and for most of my life believed it...then I woke up and smelt the coffee....and just realized that whatever one believes there is no way on God's green earth I came from a speck of dust that landed in the ocean and turned into a tadpole that climbed out and turned into a monkey, then an ape, then me.....no sir re bob....I am just not so easily buffaloed. |

Darwin's theory is flawed, but so is the Biblical creation fairy tale. There is an intelligent creative force at work, I am certain of that. But to argue these two ideas is a waste of energy. They are both incomplete and flawed. |

You didn't know that computers evolved from transistor radios which evolved from an organic battery that first appeared when an electric eel had to poop?? Yeh, its been in all the text books. JB |

JeannieBean is right, machines could be a new form of life evolving before our very eyes.

See it's really simple.....If your a Christian you don't believe in evolution.....It has nothing to do with believing me.....And all to do with believing in God......
And like I have said at least 999999999 times I believe that species adapt within their own species....but to change from one to another....just aint going to happen....never had.....never will......And if anyone can show me this in the last 300 years even........then I will believe in evolution......if not......then it's creation.....fair enough. |
