Article XI of the American Articles of Confederation states "Canada acceding to this confederation, and adjoining in the measures of the United States, shall be admitted into, and entitled to all the advantages of this Union; but no other colony shall be admitted into the same, unless such admission be agreed to by nine States."


Therefore logically if Canada can do this at any time with out a majority vote of the Union then it follows that a Canadian citizen can become an American citizen without any of the problems, red tape etc accorded to others. A Canadian being without a criminal record, healthy, ready, willing and able to work should be allowed (following through on Article XI) to become an American citizen.


How's that for logic.

I've enjoyed reading your posts and for the most part I agree with you. The unfortunate aspect of public forums, whether they be moderated or not is that the topic can shift away from the original question. Whether this is intentional or not is debatable as much as the original topic.

Indigenous Australians are known in their OWN culture, and amongst their own people, as either Murrays, to the south, or Koories, in the North and Western regions of Australia.

That is their title, acceptable to them. As a mark of respect European Australians, (white), call our first Australians, Indigenous Australians, their preference.

It is their perfect right to be addressed with respect, and honour.

As are we all...
