I have always believed you get what you give... Normally when you are nice to others they are in fact nice back.. Give a smile get a smile... I would rather be around those that are up and positive then those that are negative and down all the time..
To be around those that always has a positive attitude sure makes for a pleasant day.....

sometimes it does. sometimes it doesn't or at least not in the way one expects. however when you put good things out there, in the pay it forward category, it comes back to you in an unexpected kindness edited for spelling |

90% of the time I can look into someone eyes before I let them break in front of me in traffic and know whether they will wave a thank you or not!! I live by that...have good incite and trust my intuition as to when to be nice or say screw them!!!! Sorry WW I have to be honest

I think being genuine is what pays off... I would love to say I am always nice but that would be a lie sometimes I am down right nasty.. So I am hoping just being me whether I am in a mood or I am being kind and gracious...
Does that mean I am mean or unkind on purpose no but well chit happens. |

Just as being nice can sometimes backfire and keep you from getting somewhere you want to be, sometimes. Just as being honest can prevent you from getting somewhere you want to be, sometimes. Etc. There's no one behavior, attitude, or emotion that is universally applicable to all situations leading to one specific desired outcome where you can just stop your life and say "okay, I'm here! Now I no longer have to change, care, try, or pay attention, just wallow in happiness and contentment! Yay! I win!" |
