Topic: Do Christians really believe.......? | |
---|---|
Again, God does not send us to hell. Only we can send ourselves there by ignoring, rejecting or by being unbelievers of God. Like it says in the Bible " all non believers will be thrown into the lake of fire". I didn't say that, Jesus did. Why should I respect a person who only cares for what it wants, not what I do? Is that really what love does? It's not to me. Love is not selfish, your Bible even says that, to demand things is the antithesis of that. Respect is a two way street, if I am not respected, what's the point of giving it back? And you are full of crap on the 2nd, God can ALWAYS choose to not damn anyone.....no one realistically would choose that for themselves......God is the one that makes it possible. So yeah he entirely DOES send us there since no one else can do it but the creator. And no matter if "we do it" or not, it's still completely unloving. Not a God worth worshipping to me at all, who would do such a thing. People damn themselves. Why would God let corrupted people into Heaven? People he knows could turn Heaven upside down? Heaven is for the people who aren't full of sin, and have redeemed themselves of sin, by praying to God, saying they believe that Jesus came down to earth, died for our sins. By paying our penalty in full, by believing and repenting for our sins. Also believing that after he died, he was resurrected on the third day, ascending back into Heaven. Lastly that he is our Lord and Savior. No, God hasn't put his creations (us all) onto the earth to let them run around to do whatever is in our "sinful nature", which is another thing. Do people want to be unbelievers because they don't really believe? Or is it they don't believe because it stands in their way of committing sin they know in their heart isn't right? People want to be unbelievers not because they don't really believe, but because it stands in their way of commiting sin they know in their heart isn't right. Oh....no! The road is narrow. JESUS CHRIST is the way to heaven and we believers strive for the narrow way to heaven, for many shall seek to enter in, and shall not be able (LUKE 13: 24). |

Seriously? Do you seriously believe that? That belief is not only totally illogical it makes no sense at all. If there were any logical reason at all to believe the impossible myths and legends that religious leaders have tried to sell the people from old fabricated and plagiarized scripture, if there was any proof at all, I would be the first to believe. I "believe" stories about aliens before I believe that stuff. I believe conspiracy theories before I believe that stuff. I need a REASON to believe something. I need to see some LOGIC and REASON in something to consider believing in it. I don't believe something for no reason or because I "want to sin" or because I am "afraid of going to hell." That is absurd and illogical. Your statement is down right insulting to people, who for their own reasons, to not buy into the bull chit of religious dogma. I'm sure you feel that you are right and everyone else is wrong and all non-believers in Jesus are "sinners" by choice. (Oh And don't get me started on what "sin" is and isn't.) You have accused people who do not believe as you believe to have chosen to be non-believers so they are "free to sin." How much sense does that make? NONE. People don't chose what they believe. They believe according to their own intelligence and awareness. They don't believe just because some church doctrine demands it. I believe in the truth, and that is all I believe in. When I see evidence of the truth then I will believe. JESUS CHRIST is the way to heaven and we believers strive for the narrow way to heaven, for many shall seek to enter in, and shall not be able (LUKE 13: 24). Think for yourself. Stop quoting the Bible. Narrow is the way because few people can think for themselves. |
