I am addressing this as to see other's feed back on this subject of respect in dating sites ; exemple what gives people the right to ask you why you search for a certain type of person as to may be race ,style ... or type of relation , if one writes something in their profile how come is it some totally disregard what one writes to impose on that one what they want from them insted of respecting what this one prefers and searches for .
Any comments ?

For another exemple lets say a man is searching for intimate encounters ...why would one try to convince him or her into another kind of relationship search ....
Or an asian man writes he is searching for asian woman ... isn t it his right and perogative to chose who he wants ..no one will judge him because he searches in his own group but when one states they are searching outside their own group suddenly lots of reactions and unwelcomed comments ...

Hmmmm..preferences versus demands.
If someone states a preference, that
does not seem so..binding.

Whereas if they state what they ONLY
want, it would seem silly to try and
wean them from that.

I have seen people post opinions that
fly in the face of what their profile
has portrayed, wiggle room there also.

People can demand, or have a preference for, anything they want.

The chances of finding it though are a different story.

I'm constantly surprised that people really give a s***.

What do I care if somebody on the internet whom I'll never meet in my life is critical on the way I live my life? I could really give a f*** less.

I try to give women respect. Best I can, maybe it's just the women around here(Not the site, where I am from)But they act too stuck up. Act like they deserve the moon and the stars. Just becasue they are pretty. Sooner or later I'm gonna stop giving respect and give them my middle finger...

Most men that contact me, do not read my Profile. I suppose women do not read profiles either. Photos attract most people on date sites.
And, many people are not serious in meeting someone, for a real true respectful serious relationship. I am speaking from experience on other sites, paid sites as well as free sites. There are always exceptions out there, good, kind respectful, Men.

You see to me respect is very important , i think as adults we should all have some sort of savoir vivre and be civilised with others and considerate ... kindness goes along way .
I find that those who are not respectful on dating sites impose on you what they want and such as in all reality very manipulative and maybe that is the inf=gredient that gets to me the most , the wrong daring as to think the reader will not discern at all where they are coming from , presuming that everyone is gullable , i dont like that .

like soufie said, people will have preferences, but not necessarily mandates,,,and it isnt always easy to tell in black and white which is which so people ask questions

and some people post things to invite responses, or to stir the pot if you will

one just never knows,, its more about the tone and the way an inquiry is made than it is the fact that someone inquires,,,

A lot of people do not read your preferences, they see a pretty face and just go for it. I have no specific preferences, but when I read a profile, I look for things we may have in common, if there is none of that, I don't bother, it doesn't bother me if they have specific preferences, if people want to stay within in their race, that's fine too, that's what they prefer. I see a lot of white males that have listed Latinas. I don't bother with them, because that is their preference.

It maybe that they are attracted to a person's photo so much so, that they ignore the person's preferences, in a way it's a compliment they have found them attractive. However, I totally agree, disregarding and questioning a profiler's preferences does show a complete lack of respect.

People will say a lot when they're anonymous. Pay them no mind. Delete and block.
