Is that a hollowen comstume? if you were speaking to me? yes.. I was a tampax!  I had thought, and this is for real, that that was your most recent wedding photo. The veil. The white. I understood your point.. but I don't think you understood mine.. perhaps you hadn't noticed but in an earlier post on this thread I had stated "I'm real!" what ensued was simply a repartee at "defending" the statement.. followed by an admission of teasing! i hadn't bothered to read what you first wrote but you're cool, I was merely busting chops. its raining in cali, first signs of a semi winter. all is well with moi vs. the world.

If you notice, it's not just this site that have fake profiles and fake people. It's the whole network and pixel world. Though, my question is, what purpose do they have for misleading information on a dating site? What do they get out of it? Makes absolutely no sense to me.

Several profiles I viewed have not been active in over 30days, so I would not even contact them. I wish they would just delete all those off, unless they are in the Military or have some foriegn mission position.
Active people make it easier to communicate with them.

Alright, I've been on this site for a little while now and I've noticed something that's irking me. I might be crazy but it seems to me as though the same person or persons are writing these profiles and chatting online. Not necessarily on the forums but when I try to chat with the girls that i'm interested in they all seem to type the same way, using the same phrases and words. They don't seem to have a good grasp of the english language either. Not just that but I've tried chatting with girls whose profile states that they live in a nearby town when in fact they live in other countries. Is this site for real?? Are these people fakes and frauds?? Anybody else noticed this??? I think I'm fake. I definitely don't know where I live... I have a translator, that's why my English is so good. |

Hi, I agree with you, I just joined a few days ago and the responses I'm getting are from other countries... A different town is one thing but i dont think I'll be making a trip to India,Germany,or Nigeria..Hmmmmmmmmm

I am sure that like most dating type sites that there are scammers. I tend to do a picture check or e-mail check if they give me an e-mail. I also don't get overly excited over anything they say. Time is the best way to discover if they are real or not. Generally if they are rushing to meet, call or correspond off this site that is a huge red flag - proceed with extreme caution. |

If you plan to meet someone and the location seems "real"alistic and there's some sort of reference to verify that what is said is "real", then you limit wasting time messaging the person back and forth.
