Is that a hollowen comstume?

Real people never use the words "I'm real" in any of their vocabulary.

I haven't found a person within 100 miles of my location who has been on the site within the last month. This is ridiculous. The first thing I look at now is when they were last on-line.

Singles are a dying breed... mostly with no offspring.

So what do you expect. Give it another ten years, and there will be no recently appearing single within a circle of 600 miles in radius around yourself.

Things tend to go from bad to worse, and then the cycle repeats itself.

I don't think so! When talking to my kids and I'm angry at something stupid they've done, I say "I'm real angry with your right now!" you may not think it proper grammar (I have a Bachelors in Writing) but that's only one example of how real people speak...

Everyone that's met in the REAL world off this site would beg to differ too! Perhaps that's true of many of the newer additions in the past couple of years.. since the 'fakes' have becoming more and more evident.. but most of the old timers (back from the JSH days) are still here and VERY real!

The first man I met 8 months ago on Senior People was a scammer from GHANA....I learned alot since then...if you right click the picture ...save it...and go to google image....sometimes you're lucky enough to come up with a person who has 8 names or one that has "scammer" "fake" stamped on the picture...that's the quick way...now if you don't get anywhere with the picture..maybe it's a new one the person is using...and you get to the point of e-mailing..you can check their IP address and Header and that will tell you where it's coming from....it slaps you when you think the person lives in the next town and an African, Canadian etc flag comes up in the header...

Well like every other sites you have Scammers ,But I have some real friends on here & I think very highly of them.

Yes, in many cases I've run across, especially when said online it means they are.

does that mean I can get out of paying my mortgage? never have to work again? and didn't really sire 2 kids?? wow.. where the heck did these stretch marks come from then...???

you wrote "in many cases".. I think you're statement has a lot of generalizations that aren't necessarily true.. however you should not lump those claiming to be "real" on these forums as ALL fakes.. I do agree there has been an increasing number of 'fakers' on dating and social sites.. but much has to be taken in context too.. like at times.. I can be a REAL pain in the azz..

I am sure that like most dating type sites that there are scammers. I tend to do a picture check or e-mail check if they give me an e-mail. I also don't get overly excited over anything they say. Time is the best way to discover if they are real or not. Generally if they are rushing to meet, call or correspond off this site that is a huge red flag - proceed with extreme caution.

From my standpoint people who constantly sprout how "real" their personality is online should check themselves. What you keep describing has NOTHING to do with people on the internet. Its real life, not people on the net. Not always is everyone their authentic self online anyway. Once in a blue moon.

perhaps you hadn't noticed but in an earlier post on this thread I had stated "I'm real!"

what ensued was simply a repartee at "defending" the statement.. followed by an admission of teasing!

everyone on here is just an illusion that the government created just to mess with people

thank you to all those who had something nice and encouraging to say about my fustration at fake profiles. i am happy to report that i have met a great guy on this site who is real and who hasnt used a fake or out of date picture! you see honesty and being real in who you are as a person gets you more in life than being dishonest! i wish you all the luck and hope that you all find that special somone ! please just be yourself that way you are sure to get someone decent and worthy of you!!

The pictures are real but everything else is bogus!
