I'm really rather curious as to what ethnicity you are attracted to in your preference of potential partner.

And why?

Ethnicity doesn't matter much when it comes to dating. However, I am not interested in dating men who focus a lot on race.. so that will turn me off.

Any and all, I appreciate the beauty of them all. I love the diversity of cultures and exploring their differences, and connecting with the similarities. When you take the time to learn about those who are different, you realize how alike we are, and how beautiful and wonderful the diversity is.

Everyone who has posted seems open minded and that's a great thing. I do find myself attracted most to Caucasians though and think we have the most in common. I live in Hawaii which is very diverse but my preferences haven't changed.

Wouldn't it be counterproductive for a person here to reveal an ethnic preference? Why would I want to say something that would turn off a certain group of women? They would think I was not interested in them.

As for myself, I do not set up racial/ethnic boundaries.

Race is not an issue for me. I am and always have been attracted to muso's and strength of character.

I prefer a good rib eye and baked potato over lasagne but that doesn't mean I don't like lasagne

I have traveled to the point of learning ethnicity is not as significant a defining aspect for ASTHETICS as the american culture brings us to beleive


so, I have certain PHYSICAL preferences, but I find there isnt a race in which I cant find those physical traits somewhere,,,

I like all races. There's not one I don't like. I'm not fussy in that sense. :)

A constructive response and one well worth answering. That's not to say that any of the other responses weren't thoughtful of course, but there is a certain kind of style which is asthetically pleasing to the eye of the individual...as Msharmony points out. I do tend to lean towards the idea that those certain traits which attract us, can only be found in certain race/ethnic groups. In fact i do believe there was a thread that asked why men are attracted to Asian ladies not so long ago.

Is it not a valid question to ask?
