I think I'm single because I am opinionated & I go almost everywhere with my 70 something mom. She doesn't drive anymore & if I don't take her places, she'd never leave home. I think she may be making me invisible to single men But, she's the most important person in my life & I realized years ago men don't like to come second on the "attention" list.

By choice mostly. I have discovered I am a bit skittish about getting into a serious relationship. Would love the companionship that goes with it but having trouble getting there. I actually run from the men who are too serious too soon. I am going to have to have the serious relationship snuck up on me without me knowing it and then bam there it is and I am doing it already without thinking about it.... sounds like a GRREAT plan that's....well....not really a plan...
