It isn't just christians,it's Jews and Muslims also.The US is mostly christian that's why it's discussed more.The problem i have is simple,it's myth and it has alot of hypocrisy in it,but believers seem to think it teaches morals and values.Yeah if you pick and choose certain verses...make sure to leave the not so great verses out.There really isn't enough time for me on this planet to type all the reasons,way to many.Some of my post in this forum explain.
Oh by the way reread your part about the love thy neighbor and making the world a better place and tell that to the ones who died in the crusades and inquisition,i bet they'll beg to differ.Tell that to the holocaust victims who were praying for their god to help them.Tell that to the people in Sudan who are split half christian half muslims.Tell that to the muslims in Kosovo who were slaughtered by christians and vice versa.

police officers covering up crimes is all about protecting their aspes and not about Faith

if the church were covering up Priest molestating children then perhaps the church didn't consider child molestation a crime ,and the Priest can simply utter that what they were doing to the children was of Love and a matter of Faith ....and this is why I've asked "Is Faith Moral"?

in order to address these issues is why a clear explanation as to what Faith is, needs to be presented

Faith goes the other way to. Just because one doesn't believe in a "religio" does not mean they do not have "faith". They just lack the fact thereof. But nevertheless they have faith in there not being a God.

No, just because someone claims to be something doesn't make them what they claim to be. That would be like a man trying to claim to be a woman and hold it as absolute truths. Or a person that is only 5 foot professing with every bit of himself that he is 6 foot. Just because someone claims to be something doesn't make it so.

Being a Christian is more then a title. It is a way of life.

If you place your faith of being in never-ending, eternal torment, then yes. Faith is not a thing or object, it is what YOU believe with absolute to be true.
