Very few people go for inter-racial relationships, but i don really see a big deal about it, i believe love does not do with the color of the skin or any other racial difference... But i think whites go for inter racial datings more than black people and asians... What are you perspectives?

its hard to qualify dating in reference to 'race' because there is no real documentation kept for such casual interactions

people will have sex without much consideration to race, or sometimes gender,,,


if we talk about marriages though, I think asian women are probably the most likely(in the us) to marry interracially

I think it's just something that's in your make-up that attracts you to people of the same race - because it's what you're familiar with and what you've grown up with, it's what you end up being attracted to.

I am Native American, Scandinavian and Asian. Every guy I've had a serious or long term relationship has been white. I was raised in white culture and it seems natural to me.

I once asked my aunt, who grew up in the South Pacific, why Asian women prefer white men. She said that they think that Asian men are ugly and mixed race babies are prettier. I don't know if she was pulling my leg or not.

I don't see any problems with it, though I've never particularly been drawn to the "average" person of a different race. I say average because I do find actors like LL Cool J, Shemar Moore, and Daniel Dae Kim to be eye candy, but I'm a realist enough to know I'll probably never even meet them.

The only thing I would base my preferences on would not be dating someone shorter then myself, and most Asians at least, are so.

I think they're attractive in general; lf I'm interested in someone, I am interested in him as a person, no matter what race he is.

I also think that is usually the case, our environment and experiences largely shape our attraction to others,,

I dont know if thats true of all or even the majority of asian women, perhaps its regional and financial? in any case, I know here in america its most common for people to mate 'within' their race, including asian women


I do think you are on to something with the commonly misheld stereotype of mixed babies being 'prettier', I experience this often even before having my own mixed child because I am 'lighter than a paper bag'. PEople have STERN beliefs of what members of each group look like and ANYTHING outside of that idea of (black, white, asian, etc,,,) in their head equates to someone who must be 'mixed'.

and by extension most people they see who are 'attractive' but whose race they cant personally tell , they automatically ASSUME to be mixed. ITs a self fulfilling asthetic categorization.

In reality , alot of attractive and unattractive black people we have seen were actually mixed, same with white people, or asian people,,,we just ASSUMED that they were black or white or asian.

I don't know the official stats but,

I donno......most people I know have dated outside thier color.

The one truth that is recurrent....sexy and cool got very little to do with skin colour.

I think some of us just grow interacially from growing up due to our heritage and social environments.
