The sights, the sounds, kinda like Vegas with tractors and farm animals.

I'll take the crack laden sidewalks of NY. God I miss the kosher deli, the theatre, the ballet and the 10 dollar ho's in fishnet and stilettos...

I was born in Baltimore MD and then raised from age 10 - present in Alabama, I miss certain aspects of the city; however there isn't a single thing I'd trade for the wonderful life I have here now.

Don't get me wrong, I still like some aspects of the city. I was born and raised in Toronto (the center of the universe) and still like to visit big cities everywhere.
I just like the fact that when I come home I can leave the doors open all day and night, not hear any sirens wailing, not see any wannabe gangbangers pulling some stupid sh!t in the back alley, just peace and quiet. I get my fill of city life when I'm there and then escape to a more friendly environment.
The only thing I really have to worry about here is my drunk azz neighbour stealing my firewood at two in the morning or the local idgits crashing their pick me up truck into my house when the bar closes.

listening to the sound of rain on a tin roof, going out in the early morning to feed your animals and the best of all is watching a new foal (bby horse) or calf being born.

Don't forget the rednecks who like their beer like they like their wimmen, cheaper by the dozen...

I miss being out in the country, the quiet, serene, beautiful place. I miss the garden, the cows, the big beautiful starry nights where you could watch the galaxy for miles and miles. It's awesome.

I live in the country. WAY out in the country. We have snakes bears coons and just about anything else you can imagine. I wouldn't trade it for the city

I live in the country . Its a laid back kind of life. I can ride my horse anytime night or day. There is all kinds of wildlife to see,deer turkey,rabbits,racoon, etc. Its a simple life style Some would say its boring.The only drama I see some days is on TV or feeding time.

The further out in the boonies, the better...

I get so envious of people who live in the country, and if someone lives in the country and doesn't appreciate it,
I will gladly trade places with that person...
I live right smack dab in the middle of the city,
about 10 blocks from the state capitol...
there are bars and clubs everywhere
and if I wanted to be part of that scene, I would have it made,
but it so not me....I am a day person...I don't get crazy or party down with alcohol...I don't abuse myself or go to clubs...


I am not a city girl, and never have been...

If you love the endless noise and crazy nightlife of cities, then come move here...
Give me the quiet and peace of the mountains anyday...
I would rather live simply and without all of the modern day conveniences, which I do not have anyway...

I would make love with my husband in everything we do all day and night, growing huge elaborate gardens and places of safe refuge and sanctuary for us, our families and friends...
I would entertain the garden fairies and spiritual entities who would love to visit my magical place....
I would ride my bicycle and hike for days
and live deep, deep in the forest or ridgetop...

I grew up in Los Angeles, but my parents are both from rural texas. As a kid I traveled there during the summer, and worked on my grandparents farm, now as an adult I miss that country air
and feeling of freedom, i may one day go and live there!

Nice to escape from the madness of LA now and then. Going camping soon and do some fishing and rock climbing.

As peaceful as country life might be, I'm a city Fox, where I can go into a wal-mart or something that is open 24 hours and get anything I want. I do prefer a small town at night, it would have to be a bigger enough town to have a Wal-Mart, but small enough that everything Stops at 9 PM.

Feeding time is the most peacefull . im like the king and my loyal subjects await my daily arrival. Heads up they all come runnin.Then it laid back feast time . I can walk by pet rub while they eat . Ohh time to meet my loyal subjects now they are waitin.

There is nothing better than getting up in the morning and having breakfast in the nude, Letting out the dog and not worrying about it getting hit by a car,,, picking fresh strawberry's for dinner or fresh veggies,,,,and if you forget something, who you going to tell??? Country folk always have more "Making Love Time" We are not in a hurry,,We have a campfire anytime we want,,, We walk through the woods together holding hands and if you want you can yell at the top of your lungs and nobody cares or you can rock on loud or dance the night away or....................................
