my horses and dog are just like family members.

I think I'd have a hard time loading ****atiels, budgies, quail, pheasants, chickens, ducks, geese, pigeons, dogs, cats, fish, and other assorted odds and ends on a plane without it costing more than buying the place to live.

That's only what I have now...I've had so much more.

I can't remember what it cost me.....something like $200 each pet and you had to have a vet check first.

i have raised and owned many pets,some exoitic, but my fav are horses dogs, my barn cat thinks my leg is the best rubbing post&claw sharpener

well i can tell ya this

when a bunch of people moved from a urban/suburban
environment to the small town i grew up in

most of them started complaining about not having
the ubania amenities

and now the small town is no longer a good country setting

but has become a small urbania and guess what

many are moving again

will some never learn

country life to me is like being a little more free. I can get out on a horse ride and see not drive by at 60 and glance.

I love the country life and its freedom.

grew up in the country moved to a small city for awhile could not stand the traffic, noise, and living too darn close to each other-I really don't want to know when my neighbor farts ok?
Country is slow, laid back, and peaceful

even the city is quiet for me these days, I would love to move to the country, I might just have to do that once I get my life back in order.

I miss living in in OK countryside... Where i can leave my door open and say ya'll there's no stop light, but ya'll look out for each others kids.... Where there is Sweet tea... God I miss Sweet tea..

I live in the English country side, where I enjoy open fields, cattle grazing, Sunday afternoon pub lunches by the river ( summer time of course) bike rides, walks ( all weathers)buying fresh honey from the farm shops, picking my own fruit and vegetables, the quite, moonlit nights ( even better where there are no street lights) seeing thatched cottages, visiting Hamlets( smaller villages where there is only one way in and out ) watching cricket on the village green, staff in the supermarket are on first names term with you, the butchers know what cuts of meat you like. I can sleep with my windows open, no one climbs in and certainly the air is fresh and clean.I enjoy my large garden( 120ft x 50ft). Give me the country any day. I love it
