Are we alone in this universe?
Scientists are searching to trace "life" out of this world but didn't succeed till date. What your instinct tells? Does life exist in the outer world? What type of life you will like to imagine in the outer world?

If you take the shear size of "the known" universe into consideration, it's kinda ignorant to think that we're the only ones.

There is probably lots and lots of life out there, but it is very far away. Some may not be very far at all.
|

There has to be life out there and the reason they haven't contacted us is they're waiting for us to stop acting like we're 5 year olds, smacking each other trying to take the other kids toy.
They most likely know we kill each other. Imagine what they think we would do to them? There's also the germ factor. Maybe they'll drop us a line once we learn how to cure things like the common cold. |

Life is a broad enough term for me to believe it exists everywhere INTELLIGENT life however, I believe is only in the form of human beings I agree with Ms harmony, are you talking about human life/alien life? Or microorganisms and such? |

INTELLIGENT life however, I believe is only in the form of human beings Human intelligence is an oxymoron. There are other animals on OUR planet (whales, elephant, apes and bears to name a few)that are extremely intelligent and even emotional. With the variety of places on earth where living things have been found it is almost a given that there is life elsewhere. |

If there was Intelligent life out there, they'd take on look at You Tube and then decide they want nothing to do with idiots like us.

We'd have to be egotistical and "self-centered" as hell to not think there is "real" intelligent life out there somewhere!
Perhaps looking at us.....and laughing.....or crying. |

I'm glad Aliens have not showed up. If earth history has showed us anything, when an advanced culture meets a less advanced culture, the advanced culture usually obliterates the natives and takes their land and resources.
Maybe Aliens wouldn't act like humanity and basically be space hippies who only want to help, but in that case we would probably take advantage of their kindness and take them over. Savage little monkeys, the human race... |

i do not believe in aliens, as they are represented in the media...i do believe in the possibility of lichens and other undiscovered life forms..

Well, they have proof of microbes on Mars, so at the very least there is the space flu out there. :P
