One of the things that makes it frustrating to debate with the conservatives here is that I don't remember them once answering my questions. Argument>rebuttal>counter-rebuttal is not a very productive process. I've seen enough Perry Masons to know that in a law court, testimony is not even allowed without the opposing lawyer having an opportunity to cross-examine the testimony in order to challenge its value. I have made every attempt to answer all your questions honestly and candidly. When I ask a question, what we get is . . . well, we've all seen what we get. That's free speech, I suppose, but it doesn't shed much light on the subject.

Don't you think that you are obliged to answer the questions of the person with whom you are debating?

People are not forced to acknowledge anyone or any question.

I refuse to answer on the grounds that it's my right to not have to.

Same thing as constitutional right to not have obummercare shoved up my rectum.shocked smokin

Like I said, that's free speech, and you are absolutely not required to respond. But, why should anybody consider an argument with any degree of seriousness if the arguer is nor willing to stand up to
"cross-examination"?

Oh well now if that ain't the pot calling the kettle black. Usually when we on the right try to debate you leftys all we get are links to what the liberal media has to say. Like no one is able to give their own opinion on matters, they just copy/paste a link and let someone else speak for them. In true liberal fashion.

Debate away, Mister. You won't find one link in my replies. I'm quite capable of speaking for myself. As long as you're civil, I'm civil. Fire away.

Oh and from just having read your profile, I bet you're ecstatic about Egypts uprising.

You also got it going on for a dude your age.

I answer all the time...

Problem is that my answers are 'dismissed' out of hand as not being in line with 'experts'.

I also will not paste some 'expert' opinion (people want to they can look up stuff on the net just like I do)...

One of the problem with 'accepted' sources is that the 'experts' are locked in battles over which one is right...

and for every 'expert' that sayse p is q there is another 'expert' that says q /= p... or that z is better than both p and q.

(besides which if one looks at current global situation it becomes obvious that experts are quacks... they have 'expertly' led us upon a primrose path).

There are no experts, only opinions.

Oh well now if that ain't the pot calling the kettle black.
Are you saying that when you are debating with a liberal, they won't answer your questions? I hope you aren't talking about me.

Usually when we on the right try to debate you leftys all we get are links to what the liberal media has to say. Like no one is able to give their own opinion on matters, they just copy/paste a link and let someone else speak for them. In true liberal fashion.
I guess that means that you have no interest in supporting evidence. That's fine, but it leaves you with nothing more than an opinion. People have all sorts of loopy opinions about all sorts of things. Why would you expect anybody to care about your opinions if you are unable or unwilling to at least attempt to support them with some facts? Further, I challenge you to make a case that the sources that I employ come from the liberal side.
Debate away, Mister.
Answer those questions, Missy.

When Sharia is Law here, you can tell "Missy" to STFU.
Until then, Ms GG2 is afforded respect.

But you tell me, as I stated, experts' "evidence" is merely a story with their opinion thrown in.

Posting links as "factual evidence" is nothing more than trying to sway a person. I wanna hear what YOU THINK. You say you're very liberal, I wanna know why. I don't need a link to open. I don't open them anyways. Speak to me.

Or maybe a lil snuggle in your rv while we agree to disagree.devil

I answer all the time...
How many times have I asked, "When did this happen? did it make it into the news? " This is a serious question. If you allude to an event that you think occurred, wouldn't it be reasonable for me to want you to verify that it actually occurred? Facts are not open to debate. Opinions are for debating.

Well TELL me some facts. Give me your thoughts on Egypt. You don't need a link to support that, just common sense.

Ecstatic? Not exactly. I think it's a dangerous time. It could go really, really badly, or it could end up really, really well. I'm hopeful. (This is just my opinion with no sources. See how unimpressing that is?)

Also, thanks for the compliment, (I think]. Your photo is quite attractive. I'll check out your profile.

There ARE no "facts" in media. No one knows what's going to happen. They merely support what they choose to.

IMO, you have already dismissed Ms GG2 by using the demeaning term "Missy"

No need to respond.

Your not responding to the last time I brought it up was answer enough.

I AM impressed. See? You don't need links to support your thoughts. Regarding Egypt, the protestors have clearly stated that they "hate America". What we will have is another extreme Islamic country wanting to do away with Israel. Mubarak kept that peace treaty intact in '79, I'm very worried for Egypt. That peace treaty is nothing more than a rumor in coming months.

There's not much to see on my profile. But yes that was a compliment. And you're welcome and thank you also.

I meant I'm very worried for Israel, not Egypt. I do this from a droid phone, hard to edit.
