he's trying to give bush credit for having so many homeowners in the nation.
if that's so,
he could have at least made sure they could afford them.

so there was a stock market high.
how much did you make off of it.
unemployment was low.
poverty was higher than when clinton was in office.
and people had houses.
which they later found out they obviously couldn't pay off.
i still don't see how it doesn't click.

Wait a second. Are you trying to say people buying houses they couldn't afford was somehow the president's fault? That is laughable. Lets learn a new word today. Personal Responsibility. Can you say it? I knew you could.
well, they had standards on who they would loan money to, and somehow those standards were lost somewhere... see what happens without standards?

Thats banks not the government. And banks almost went bankrupt because of it but the gov bailed them out. Lesson learned was don't worry, we can rip people off and ruin our business and the government will save us. Corruption 1 personal responsibility 0

Republican wins Ohio Governor's race. Also Republican Brian Sandoval appears to be winning Nevada's Governor race also over Democrat Rory Reid(Harry Reid's son).

Also Republican Pat Toomey beats Democrat Joe Sestak to win the PA Senate race to replace Spector.

Actually Bush tried over 13 times to put regulation into fanny mae and freddie mac because he saw the housing bubble coming.Bush tried to stop it but was not successful.

A big part of the blame is our Government demanding banks give houses to minorities that couldn't afford them.I believe that is where it really started. Our Government told the banks they had no choice but to give people a house loan regardless if they could afford it or not.Our Government was saying it was a right to own a house and the banks couldn't discriminate. It was all a load of BS!

US Senate Race Results so far. Democrat's 48 over Republican's 46, with 4 more races at stake. I don't see this happening. However they will only have a one or two seat majority. Plus Lieberman caucuses with the Democrats but sides with us Republicans more time then not!

US House Race Results so far. Republicans 207 to Democrats 144 with 84 seats still at stake.

The confusion of the Democrats must have included the date ... thinking that it was still Halloween Nancy Polosi was just found with a stake in her heart!

Actually, on NBC it was just stated that a Pelosi aide said that Pelosi didn't get her message out.
