Men rarely say those words? Hell, you'd be surprised at just how often alot of dudes say it. Why? Many reasons, but in your case, I earlier that he probably does "love you". Meaning, he cares about you, and he likes what you guys have now. Could he want more? Possible. But I also feel that he said those words because he doesn't want to see you with another dude. Guys hate liking a chick and seeing her date another dude. Wanna see a dude act like a prima donna? Then befriend him, and date another guy. If he has feelings for you, then he is gonna act a fool (so to speak, lol).
I don't know if him saying "I love you" means that he really is "In love with you". I love my best friend to death, and she happens to be female. I tell her those three words all the time because I do love her. But I don't mean it in the manner of wanting to pursue a romantic relationship. Now, he could mean this, or he could really want a relationship with you. Like others have said, find out. Take it slow and see, but also look at how he acts towards you. If he really wants you, then he will let it show. |
