It is becasue I have pride I stand up for myself and to people like you who would sell us out to dogmatic ideologies that seem to overlook the ideals of Checks and Balances and not take into account something called Personal Accountability and that goes hand in hand with the whole "Socialistic" outlook you present. you praise Affirmative Action yet you do not want to admit it had failures. One of them was the violation of constitutional rights of MANY Americans. You sit back and think, "So what some whites are affected by this negatively but it is for the good of the nation." Oh yeah, segregating part of our population among us in the name of equality? Ostracizing qualified people to less qualified in the name of "fairness" becasue we have to help "MINORITIES?" With a nation full of minorities WE ALL ARE MINORITIES!

Sadly I find you "Logic and Reason" comes too much from the heart and not enough with your head. How is it accusing others of being hateful absolves you of your own apparent prejudices?

There are many here that just want this whole "Minority Complex" the ideal of "No Man (RACE)" left behind. I personally am sick and tired of all these minority voices trying to pull shart that benefits them and screws the rest of us. You seem to think only Whites were affected by affirmative action. Well, so were Asians! How about you tell us about some of the Stereotype THEY perceive. I sure can. Can you tell me how Armenians feel with people thinking they are Pakistani? I can! How about someone who lives in the back 40 of some hell hole in Georgia? I talk to people. I got a lot of foreign friends who I have known over the years. I have seen all of the directions prejudice flows.

Sure I have my share of things I hate. I also have my share of things I distrust. But there are things I also appreciate and I doubt you would understand any of it. People hate snakes. Why? They are uncontrollable and some of them can kill us with just a bite. I can respect a snake a lot more than I can respect most humans! A snake was purpose made to eat small animals. They are excellent vermin control. If approached and handled properly an encounter with a snake can end without anyone dying. nature crafted them to suit their function perfectly. Humans on the other hand have to complicate things just like you do and you simply sit back, put a hand to your breast, bat your eyes, and innocently ask if you did anything wrong right after getting caught with your foot in your mouth.

there is a difference between prejudice and hate, although prejudice CAN be hateful, its not mandated


prejudice just means makin a pre judgment,, I might meet a wealthy man and prejudge that he is good with money,, nothing hateful in that

If I met that same man and prejudged that he must not care about those without money(selfish), that might be considered hateful

I am aware of my prejudices, I try desperately to correct them everyday to become a better person,, I no longer prejudge white males with an assumption that they are rapists and I no longer prejudge black males with an assumption that they are athletically inclined

where I see PREJUDICE(PRE judging without facts) in myself, I constantly try to improve it,,,instead of embracing it or boasting about it,,

its a shame that one has such tunnelvision that they dont see the NUMBER of times me and dragoness disagree, but if I agree with her on something unpopular we become a 'tag team' and 'friends' so that the childish game of 'us vs them' can continue

I hate noone and I see the humanity in everyone, although I aknowledge how different HISTORIES can lead to inequalities and issues which need to be addressed , it wasnt japanese being enslaved and having laws on the books disenfranchising them for hundreds of years, it wasnt armenians either,, in america, it was BLACKS who were disenfranchised and enslaved and it will take more than one or two generations to correct the inherent affects of those policies,,,

sorry if that makes some people UNCOMFORTABLE or UPSET, but I didnt implement or execute the history,, I am caught up, like many people, in the repurcussions and I am not of the view that pushing it under the rug to clean itself up is going to work,,,

do not get me wrong, minorities like myself can and do achieve IN SPITE of the history , but it doesnt mean the affects of the history should not be addressed and dealt with

I doubt the modern bedroom arrangements were common in biblical days and I dont really recall religious doctrine mandating children sleep alone or in their own bed (especially since that would require a culture where people were 'wealthy' enough to have separate bedrooms)

but , yeah, he was a very talented person and seemed a sincerely genuine charitable and loving soul

after reading the entire thing, i wouldn't say hateful exactly but judgemental, condesending, closeminded and basically refusing to even consider someone else's point may be slightly true cause you always seem to be right.

But, just my opinion and im sure that im wrong to like everyone else.
