I am curious who you feel I judged or condescended to, as I honestly feel as if I only RESPONDED to the judgements of others who were condescending to me

starting with someone railing me about receiving assistance and implying I had no 'pride'

I am likewise annoyed by Bleeding Heart Liberals who think America has some obligation to help every cause that cuts across our path.

I also am annoyed at how thick headed and ignorant people can be trying to get them to see that handouts are not going to help.

I also am annoyed that many claiming the rest of us to be 'barbaric' are nothing but self indulgent idiots who think they are smarter than the rest of us.

I also am annoyed that no matter how hard I try to see their point of view I see FAR too many holes in their arguments and their lack of taking into account the dark side of human nature.

I judge individually. When it comes to making judgment calls I try to get my facts together. It isn't like I just hate or dislike anything just becasue I am a hater. I hate all humanity! This species sucks and I am human! I have a huge list of why humans are so terrible, but some of us try to be better than the rest of the pack of Baboons who call themselves civilized!

On top of that I am tired of the arrogance of these same Bleeding Hearts! Most of them cannot even give a simple answer without some snitty comment in it.

I am so annoyed at people who think they are so smart and enlightened and shoot their mouths off at what should be when the world itself will not let it happen!

ok, so upon review of the threads, because how I treat others DOES matter to me,,this is what I found

Ok. so with respect to your observations kimjo, I appreciate your honesty about your feelings and I have sincerely reviewed the conversaions once more. I mainly had discourse with two people, both of whom (from what I see) continuously attacked and belittled me.

I dont approve of hatefulness or closedmindedness but this is a forum to post opinions which I do 95 percent of the time without making it personal against anyone. This time, others made it personal and I simply responded in defense of my own self. I will continue to be cautious in how I respond to people, but I feel no need to hold back when others attack my character or my integrity or my honesty. I am peaceful, but I am no doormat.

Maybe it's just me.....but I haven't seen anything saying they are forced there or that they are going to leave it looking like a prison.

Until then....I won't fall into fear but I will keep an eye out. When it happens...THEN I will raise a stink.

I agree, the word voluntary makes a big difference and everyone should be able to choose their own items and contracts(including living arrangements)

I personally wouldnt choose such housing as it seems a very unsafe proposition to have a mass population grouped with only one way in and out, bars on the windows, and in buildings that may for some reason have not been GOOD enough to jail prisoners anymore,,,

but I also dont think its safe to repeatedly torture ones kidneys with alcohol, and I wouldnt interfere with anyones personal choice to do that either,,,

I agree with you MsHarmony. I know many who have gone through JobCorp. Not my thing but if that is something they feel they need...then go for it.

I just haven't seen where this is going to remain a prison with bars etc or that it is being forced.

It could be that they are just using something that isn't being used and might renovate it.

Until I see different, I'm not going to get up in arms about it.

Im with you on that, many more things that are higher on my personal list of priorities,,, but it is an interesting topic to discuss

People don't realize how prisons are built.

It is two foot thick cement in floors and walls making it almost impossible to alter in any way.

8x10 rooms are not big enough for families to live in.

The windows if existence are inches in size.

So removing bars doesn't make it any better

I am well aware of how prisons are. They can still be renovated. Maybe it's not meant for families.

But if it's voluntary....then that is their choice to make. They can decide not to do it.

Until then...I won't get up in arms over it

In real life there is no such thing as a level play field. No matter how level you try to make things people will find and capitalize on loopholes for their own self interest and benefit.

If a prison is converted to temporary housing so what? At least they have a place to sleep instead of the street. What, we need to but them up in the Builtmore and serve them Surf and Turf for dinner? Maybe offer them a spa and a Olympic pool too?

They are lucky to not get stuffed in sweat shops and worked like animals in factories like other countries do in the guise of "Prison Labor" like in China! This country bends over backwards to help compared to Most other countries INCLUDING EUROPE! The problem is too many of them are milkers whining about what they will and will not do for work. I have a lot more respect for a black man willing to take any job to just make a honest living than all the white people crying about how they cannot find management positions and other white collar jobs!

Seriously. People are so caught up in their provincial cultural perspective they have no idea what might be 'natural' for human beings. For unrelated people of different ages to sleep together - non-sexually - has been common in many cultures.

IMO, the real perverts are the people who think that sharing a bed is inherently sexual.

Mighty - please take a look at the series of comments here. Someone suggested that there is something wrong with sharing a bed with children. I have deliberately extracted a particular statement which I disagree with.

I assert that this is a very limited and provincial viewpoint, as sharing a bed is not sexual. I really do think that there is something wrong with someone who automatically assumes that a sharing a bed is sexual.

Nothing in any of the statements in my post is a comment on MJ, neither for nor against. ( I assume by 'he' you mean MJ).

Lets keep statements in their context. If you or anyone else wants to reasonably criticize MJ, you/they can do so with specifics and not invoke such bizarre and unhealthy notions as 'sharing a bed is automatically sexual'.
