You should have been more specific, Bloodletting is the sequel, the one I was referring to is just called Death Factory. The sequel was awful. Didn't know this one was a sequel, T. I just saw the DVD and it was on sale, so I bought it and watched. Yeah, it was awful, but believe me, I've seen worse. |

I haven't yet, but I also asked around and I'm getting mixed reviews over it. Then again, that has mostly been the case with Shyamalan's work. Will post something once I've seen it, if you haven't yet, Ms. Harmony. |

Watched two low budget horror films, The Portal and Blood Scarab. Both were just ok, as expected, though the latter had enough cheese factor to draw a horde of mice from miles away, and enough female chest exposure to get my brother and his friends interested. Still, I somehow enjoyed it a bit. After those, I took a break from my horror movie marathon and watched a chick flick that my friends would probably crucify me for, for seeing, so it will remain a Mingle secret. The movie was Letters to Juliet, and I ended up bawling my eyes out for some reason. The story was certainly unoriginal and some of the lines were hysterically cliched, but I still found myself feeling overly sappy and using up a box of tissue. If you're in the mood for a bit of romance, look it up and prepare to be "mushed!"

Frightmare 1982, nothing special. One of those early 80's horror flicks I never saw back then. Stars Luca Bercovici who is most famous for creating the Ghoulies franchise. Also Jefferey Combs before he went on to play Herbert West(ReAnimator)...Not to be confused with the excellent early 1974 British horror flick of the same name(which I highly recommend)
Mystery Team Funny comedy that spoofs the "kids solving mystery" genre. Just picture Encyclopedia Brown as a teenager solving a mystery in American Pie. |

Yeah, I actually thought for a minute, during the middle of their lesbian sex scene, about you and how you'd love to watch that. Want me to send you the DVD? |

I think you have to pay extra for shipping that much cheese. |

I think you have to pay extra for shipping that much cheese. Probably. Think I should just tie it to a rat and let it deliver the darn thing. |

Sitting down to watch the Brit-com series Father Ted I love Father Ted. One of my favorite Britcoms! It's gotta be a guy thing. Another guy actually recommended it and thought it was hysterical. I wasn't impressed at all. Kinda slapstickish, and was irritating rather then funny. |

Search For The Beast I love bad movies, I love the Bigfoot horror sub-genre- and normally some of the most entertaining are the combination of the two. But this was just horrendously bad. It's included in the 4- movie DVD set Bigfoot Terror along with three Bigfoot schlock classics from the 70's- Legend Of Bigfoot, Capture of Bigfoot, and Shriek Of The Mutilated, but for some reason they included this film from the late 90's. Most likely because it's public domain. It was literally like watching porn without the sex, oh wait there was a scene where a guy is having sex with his girlfriend and Bigfoot shows up pushes the guy out of the way and takes over(Ok, I chuckled at that scene), and there was a Deliverance dueling banjo scene with a mandolin that was sort of funny.
Part of the fun of watching these is the bad Bigfoot effects, but they just used a really cheap thrift shop gorilla costume in this.... |
