Werewolf In A Women's Prison They combined two of my favorite things- women in prison flicks, and werewolves. Ultra low-budget poke at the Women In Prison exploitation flicks of the 70's and 80's. Considering the budget the werewolf wasn't bad looking.

Has anyone seen Devil yet.... no spoilers please, I just want to know if I should spend the money,,,,what movies did it remind you of? I just saw this movie in a theater and I liked it. The plot starts on a simple premise, and though not totally original, it held my interest all throughout. It's been awhile since Shyamalan made a movie that had a semblance of his earlier, more successful work. In my opinion, this one is getting him back on track. |

Ah, my apologies, Sensei. You are, once again, correct. "Devil (also known as The Night Chronicles: Devil) is a 2010 American supernatural thriller film based on a story by M. Night Shyamalan, written by Brian Nelson, and directed by John Erick Dowdle." |

Knock Knock- I love slasher films, and I love bad slasher films. But this was just awful, it really made me appreciate bad slasher films like The Last Slumber Party. I truly think all of the actresses showed up thinking they were going to be starring in an adult film(that would explain the female detective- high heels and all) The rest felt like they were trying to one-up each other on overacting(the school janitor was either channeling Fuad Ramses from Blood Feast or had a bad nervous tick)...I normally have a high tolerance for bad horror films, but except for a very few I just have zero patience with bad horror films from the 00's.

Absolutely funny and rediculously well directed. |

Half Nelson
An excellent film with Ryan Gosling playing a school teacher who is also an addict. Yet another example of why this guy is one of the best actors out there right now. |
