The Last Legion comes in tomorrow.

Pretty good. It was a take on the founding of the Pendragon, overlap with Rome, storyline.

7 Days
Relentlessly grim and bleak revenge horror in which devoted husband and father Dr Bruno Hamel, is faced with every parents worst nightmare, when his eight year old daughter is brutally raped and murdered.
Resolving to kidnap the killer, and torture him for seven days,Bruno is soon faced with the reality that while torturing someone might seem easy in revenge driven fantastical concept, it's not so easy to do when your blubbering victim is pleading for his life, even if he is a loathsome p.o.s.
A very well made, and great revenge film, and not the usual sort either.

Prince of Persia- I was disappointed with this. Aside from some of the graphics from the film, the movie just is not that good. Gemma Aterton is hot though.

It wasn't what I was expecting.

Isle Of The Damned 2008- I'm a huge fan of the 70's Italian jungle/cannibal exploitation flicks, so when I heard there was a parody made of this sub genre I was all for it. What a let down. They tried too hard to exaggerate everything- all the wigs and costumes looked like they were taken from a high school drama closet. They should have tried a little harder to make things look authentic, that would have made the humor work. The bad dubbing was pretty funny though.

Doghouse 2009. Very entertaining British horror comedy. Group of guys take their depressed friend to a village where the women are supposed to outnumber the men. The only problem is, a virus has turned all the women into cannibals.

Tonight's movie marathon list:
(about.com)

George Romero's Land of the Dead:

Often thought of as George Romero's fourth-best zombie film, Land of the Dead is underrated for its ability not only to make biting social commentary (on big business, the Iraq War, terrorism and the distribution of wealth), but also to deliver literal biting.

The Last Man on Earth (1964)

An imperfect adaptation of the Richard Matheson novel I Am Legend, but still the best one to date, this "realistic" portrayal of undead "vampires" (who act more like zombies) uses stark black-and-white imagery to build a creepy atmosphere that greatly influenced George Romero's Night of the Living Dead.

Deadgirl (2009)

This unconventional pic features on only one zombie -- a young woman tied up in an abandoned asylum -- and she functions mostly as a victim, propelling the story of two teenage boys who must decide what to do with her. Challenging, uncomfortable, potentially repulsive, and yet uncompromisingly real and engaging with something to say about the perils of adolescence.

Zombie (AKA Zombi 2) (1979)

This Italian classic delivers all the goods you can ask for in a zombie movie. Gut munching? Check. Grave rising? Check. Eye piercing? Check. Desperate last stand in an isolated shack? Check. Hot zombie-on-shark action? Oh, you better believe it!

Frozen 2010, From Adam Green, director of Hatchet. Think Open Water on a ski lift. I enjoyed it a lot....definitely have to have suspension of disbelief on this one.

Deadline 1981, Very effective Canadian horror thriller about a writer losing battle between reality and fantasy.

A classic thriller. The first the I saw that car chase, I had to stop what I was doing, because I was in a state of awe.
